Our team from Dallas played and beat D16 Lakers today. Is this an HP team from Minnesota? I noticed Kuipers on the roster for D16 14U Tier 1 team. When I was in Minneapolis on business in Feb, I saw her play for Eden Prairie Varsity vs Shakopee in sectional at Braemar. She also scored for D16 in tod...

Atlantic was an upper division, Pacific considered lower. Level of competition can change from tournament to tournament, based on who is available to play. Looks like you came out on top of some solid MN summer teams, but not the best we have to offer. It was a fun weekend to watch hockey. That's t...

We brought a team up from Texas and won the 12u Pacific Girls division. Can someone tell me if there is a skill difference between Atlantic and Pacific? We are also curious where the girls from these teams come from (who are their normal Rec teams): Easton Synergy Skate to Excellence Red We had a gr...

I am an outsider from Texas. Even with your valid concerns about the state of girls hockey there..... you have no idea how much WORSE it could be for girls hockey. Where your rec teams are well under $1000, our rec team costs are over $1000 with 1 practice and 1 game per week - thanks to the Dallas ...

Texas team at AAG
I was amazed with the organization of the tournament and also was in awe at the sheer numbers of girls playing hockey in just this tournament alone. we struggled just to get to 10 on our roster, and had several 8, 9, and 10 year olds who composed the majority of our team, with only 3 pure u12's on o...

All American Girl Tourney
Who all is going to watch/participate in this?
My daughter (02) was a bit too young to play this year with the Alliance Bulldogs (U12B) (Dallas,TX).
Wish we could have been up there for it! Love the super rink!
There are no U10 girls teams in Texas

Texas Girl wants to play in Minnesota Girls Tourney or Games
I don't know the rules Minnesota Hockey may have against this, but I wanted to see if this was possible.... I have an 8 year old girl (about to be 9) that plays boys squirt hockey here in Dallas. Because she is so young, our association is not going to roster her on the U12 girls travel team after a...

Re: What does girls travel/select cost in Minnesota?
My soon to be 9 year old is going to play for the only all girls travel/select organization in the Dallas area. The cost? $2900 + $250 jersey +$150 for training equipment. By the time all is said and done, I think we might spend $4000 this year. My wife and I are going to bite the bullet, but in do...

Re: What does girls travel/select cost in Minnesota?
So the second question - if you were in my shoes, and already had a job lined up in Eden Prairie, but you also wanted to give your talented child the best opportunity to succeed in hockey, would you moved from Dallas to the Twin Cities area? Could you leave your family, friends, and support network b...

Down here, the girls team plays 20 games - travel is only to other cities in Texas (Austin, San Antonio, Houston) plus 1 trip to Louisiana and 1 to Oklahoma City. There are 2 tournaments they typically travel to -- 1 invitational tournament that varies by location (but is always in the Northern US) ...

Texas U8 Girl Looking for stick and puck time Apr 8th - 10th
Greetings - My daughter plays both boys mites and boys squirts hockey here in Texas. I am bringing her with me to Minneapolis for an adult tournament out of the Blaine super rink. There are rinks everywhere in the greater Minneapolis area, but I can't seem to find any open youth hockey. I know youth...
