Biggest problem with MN Hockey is the 2 year window for each level. They claim to want to reduce concussions but that is almost impossible with a 6'+ 150lb+ '97 birthyear kid running around trying to blow up the just over 5' 110lb '99 birthyear player.

Eastview 1 Hastings 0 Woodbury 6 Farmington 0 Woodbury vs Eastview for the last D8 ticket to Regionals All I can say was this was a joke and S. St. Paul Association should be embarassed on how this was run, and D8 should have been more aware of what was going on. To have both Hastings and Farmingto...

If they both win they both get in. One as pool winner and the other as the wildcard. Some scores from this morning at Braemar: PWA: Elk River > Eden Prairie (6-3) Michigan vs. Centennial (3-3) Stillwater > Waconia (3-1) Lakeville South vs. OMG (6-6, what a game!!!!!!!!) All these teams except Lakeville are in the Velocity tournament this weekend, that should shed some light  Both Lakeville teams are in the Apple Ford 4v4 tourney this weekend with Rosemount, Burnsville, Farmington and other teams. Saw both Lakeville teams very impressive with Fire additions. ...

CRMitehockey, if your B2 team is extremely successful (very few losses) and wins games by large margins, you will know that the association made a mistake in evaluating the talent level. If they are competitive with most teams they play in league and tournament play, they made the correct decision. ...

The talent and depth of associations can vary a great deal from A-C. There are and will be teams classified at different levels that should and shouldn't be where they are. An association that is making a smart decision in D6 is New Prague. They realize they cannot compete at A so their top PW and B...

The thing that stinks with this set-up and even the way MH Hockey is set up today is that the 1-4 "A" level players playing on an "A" team in smaller or weaker communities get pummeled by the big boys all year long. They are held hostage to their "home" association due...

Well I have been having a bit of fun with some of you about how wound up everybody gets about this stuff. So in all honesty, I will share how I really feel: If you are good, you will be found, regardless of the development model you are following. If you possess the talent, drive and passion for th...
