Mitchell Mattsen told me he is heading back to Minnesota next weekend and will in fact play high school hockey.

I had a nice little chat with him when he was in the PK box last night in Cedar Rapids. I work as an off ice official.

I believe the 10 games were for the ushl team they are playing for. If they played 10 or more games that team could put them on their protected list, if not, they would be subjected to the draft. I have seen Waterloo twice this year and Kloos and Cammaratta on are on the same line and compliment each other very well. I forsee both to be in the top 10 in USHL scoring at years end. They are...that good together!

Taylor did not make the intial 25 man roster for the Cedar Rapids Roughriders but remains on their USHL rights affiliate list.

Like I said I wish him nothing but the best. In the games/practices I saw, his reaction times were a step too slow. I stand by what I saw. Plain and Simple he wasn't good enough for Coach Carlson or he would have made the team. Coach brought in two high rated goalies to be the net minders this year.
