I see what you are saying. However, under the current rule, when a player completes elementary school, or middle school, Minnesota Hockey requires a waiver because of the school change even if that player is staying in the same association and nothing in new rule appears to change that. At the very...

MN Hockey participation rule change

While the tier 1 resolution seemed to have received the most press, it also appears MN Hockey made a rather drastic change in the participation rule. According to the minutes (http://assets.ngin.com/attachments/document/0071/0614/MNH_2015_Winter_Meeting_Minutes-1.pdf), they have stricken all the lan...

Hastings beat Eastview for another win, so that should give them a spot.

Last two:

23. Centennial
24. ?

Still in contention:

Buffalo
Apple Valley
Owatonna
Forest Lake
SLP

Eagan, Sibley, Rogers and Lakeville North should be out based on play in district tournaments.

Don't start crowing about how you can't wait to have your #1 ranked squirt B team play for a state championship next year and it's probably far less likely you'll be bashed for not having an A team. There are associations in your own district that aren't much bigger. Some of them somehow formed A te...

Considering that both the Canadian and U.S. women's national teams are .500 against high school age boys teams, I'd bet on Moose Lake.

Wouldn't it have been awesome if Rudy Ruettiger didn't sack the quarterback on the last play of his career, but recovered a fumble or intercepted the ball and ran it the wrong way to score a touch down for Georgia Tech? He really could have shown Dan Devine.

Farmington has a press release about this on their website although it's kind of what you'd expect in that the school district can't really say much about what action they took- http://www.rschooltoday.com/se3bin/clientgenie.cgi?schoolname=school589&statusFlag=goGenie&geniesite=32&myButt...

He tweeted (bragged?) that he got a 10 day suspension from school.

Re: High School Coach

The high school coach in our community put together a summer program (AAA) for Squirts/Peewee's by invite only. The program did not invite any of the kids that go to private schools or C and most of B players. Not looking to turn this into a private school bashing thread but would like the opinion ...

Someone on Twitter suggested how great it would have been for the Chaska coaches to score on their own net as an f.u. right back at Austin. I'm not sure that would ever happen, but it would have been amazing if they had. Instead of talking about what a tool this goalie is, perhaps the internets woul...

Nice shout out to the goalies. [TS from FL]. Yes I think that Forest Lakes Pee-wee AA team will in the end find more enjoyment playing 30 or more different teams/being able to go to school and talk about your team or game with classmates. Talking in the lockeroom about the teacher that you like/dis...
