Re: Northern Dream Team (Peewee A's)
If anybody has seen EGF pee-wee A's this year I would put
# 13 Cory Mack on the team. Very strong skater and works as hard as anybody out there. He could play on any team in the north.

Helmet
I just want to know where it stops? Will coaches have to bring helmets to games and put them on when we go shake hands? Full face masks? There is a risk in anything you do.. From getting out of bed in the morning to pouring yourself a cup of hot coffee. I mean where does it stop. For god's sake fort...

Ohshie In Warroad?
Rumor has it that Mr. Oshie is done at Warroad after this year? any truth to that. Is he leaving on his own or is there no spot for him anymore. I hear he is shopping himself around to other schools in the area. Was his contract terminated with the other cuts up in Warroad.

Re: move ins
Salol- You better watch what you are saying before you rip other programs. "You build it and they will come" is like saying come to Warroad we don't have any better talent than you so you can come and play for us. If Warroad has such a great feeder program how come all of these outsiders c...

Re: Hockeyguru
Ok people- tell me this if it isn't done (some form of recruiting) why is it that every time a player comes into town to warroad this is brought up?? Also if a player does come to Warroad to play hockey why who would testify against it? The family that is being recruited? I don't think so? So you ne...

Re: Hockeyguru
Wow why so defensive? You Warroad people are so off center? It happens I know you want names! It wasn't me but it was a friend of mine about 15 years ago. He was contacted before his freshman year about moving there. Mom would get a job of what she did and Dad would get a job at marvins. It was just...

Re: Hockeyguru
Salol Hockey- are you in denial that it doesn't happen? It has happened for year and will continue to happen. I know you want names but I won't do it. Let's just say I saw it happen first hand about 15 years ago. Leave it at that. It does happen no matter how much you want to believe that it doesn't...

Re: A Sections
Royal Elk I went and looked at ER youth numbers at pee-wee's they have one "A" team 2 B teams and 3 b2 teams with about 14 players on a team. compare that to some avg size teams of class "A" at that same level where most have only 15 players on an A and B team. The numbers speak ...

Re: A Sections
Dimishing returns after about 45 skaters I agree. But the odds are in the favor of the large school to find the cream of the crop. Would you rather have to choose from 45 skaters or 145. numbers make a program better. The odds are in your favor. That is what makes class "A" schools such a ...

A vs AA
This topic makes me so, well i'm not sure how it makes me feel. I would guess most of you out there putting down class "A" schools are the same people who are complaining in October that the Big market teams like the Yankees and the Red sox are always in the big show. Well why are they alw...

Re: warroad vs class AA
First of all I never said he was a bad teacher and didn't work hard or do his job. All I said was if he is one of the teachers that is let go in the next few months we will never know if it was because of the budget or because his duties are no longer needed since TJ is gone. Also if you say that he...

Re: warroad vs class AA
How convienient for Warroad to be cutting postions this year. I'm sure Mr.Oshie who was brought in to teach Indian studies is on the chopping block now that his son is done playing at Warroad. We will now never know if he would have been cut if their enrollment would have been up. I would bet my lef...
