I voted Yes on conflict of interest. Simply trying to give an honest answer to an honest question. That said, Andy and Dave are two of the state's best coaches. They are very dedicated and extremely fair. CC hockey should be thanking their lucky stars to have them and have them for free. Development...

I don't follow the north that much. Hermantown PW 2 years ago were average and Grand Rapids made it to state. So they should do good. STMA goalie headed to BT. Duluth East gave Edina all they could handle in the state semis 2 years ago. If they return their whole team. See abouve about exodus. They'...

Pretty Good field. YHH guy does a good job of seeding. Bantam level hard to tell given exodus to HS. I bet 6 of these teams make State. 2 from North. 2 from D6. 2 from rest. I'm not an STMA guy, but I will say this, their goalie is not the only player in this class. They made it to state 2 years ago...

The Cake Eaters went to Detroit again I see. Tony Scott does his best Edina smooch story and has some choice words about Minnesota Hockey.

I agree that when I was a kid I loved playing at the public rink against all levels of play. But I gotta tell ya, dangling the in-house kids got boring after a while and getting invited to the traditional Sunday game with goalies at our rink was almost as cool as the first time I put on a varsity je...

Our team wants to play the best. I'm not sure that is a crime. No offense to tournaments with less prestige/less cost, but winning those and saving a few bucks is a waste of time. We'd rather win (or at least try to) The Moose, Fargo, EP or Squirtacular than the BFE Cheapskate Cup and play second ti...

I just registered our team for both Fargo and the Squirtacular. We played in both last year, they were the most expensive, but were also the best 2 we played in all year. Fargo costs $950 plus a $680 gate fee. From a metro perspective, the Squirtacular will be a fraction of the cost of Fargo, consid...

I find it funny that a great team like this one has to come on here and try to save face. The facts are the facts. They've won a ton of games, ton of tournaments and had a ton of overall success. That being said, the reality is many on this team can't stand each other...parents, players, etc. That b...

Couldn't agree more. Like I said, had they entered as MB...game on, they'd be in our rankings. Please explain why they didn't just enter as MB? Simple question...hoping for a simple answer. Seems as though the Tournament Director had enough pull to make that happen...it was their tournament. No clu...

First of all, quick whistle short whistle guy slow whistle guy, the refs in the PL/Jeff game were terrible both ways. Everyone can agree on that. To suggest that they screwed PL is a waste of time and laughable. Any hockey player who has played the game knows that it was close and Jefferson converte...

Without being too critical to the staff...they did a nice job with these kids this year. Heck they made it regions out of a tough district, so they did something right. My son loves the game even more...so I am not going to savage them. But, I can't say that I'm surprised. This coaching staff chose ...

I'm a Jefferson parent and am ashamed of what happened tonight. We played EP twice this year. Game 1 was a fun early November game with EP winning 3-1. An empty net goal at the end. Both teams played great. EP converted exactly once more than us. We showed promise against a good team. Game 2 was lat...

Has YHH gone crazy?
They are doing a player of the year award for all levels. What's next a fantasy league for Mites?
