mnpuckster, I was kind of wondering the same thing. I sat with my daughter by the aisle where kids from the student section kept walking by. I don't get the togas. Seems that would be more appropriate for the Trojans. I guess as long as they're having fun and not doing the "harlem shake", ...

Doc, I don't pretend to know the exact circumstances here. I just prefer to give people the benefit of doubt. He had a great HS career, too bad he won't be in maroon and gold next year. Guess red is his color.

Ever stop to consider that maybe Besse was sick? He sure didn't look like the same player that I've seen all season. Some of you are so quick to jump all over people and call them classless without knowing the facts.

Congratulations Wayzata, you were the better team last night.

They didn't just skate 2 lines. It may seem like it because they have Besse also taking shifts at defense, for some reason. They've been doing that for awhile now.

Um..Besse scored the first 3 goals of the game, well before it was "in hand". I'll go with BSM in this game over EP. Should be a good game either way though.

MrBoJangles, God help us if you are ever selected to jury duty. You've put the pieces together after hearing the "procsecutions" case and have reached a verdict without hearing the "defense" side of the story. That's what I'd call a "clear cut case of knee jerk decision"...

MrBoDangles - Common sense would tell you to wait until you have all the facts to jump to conclusions. I don't believe anyone on here has all the facts, even the guy who claims to know all.

THIS is very obvious...

OldPuck, From what I have heard, Pauly never recruited him (I know some of you won't believe this). As I asked in an earlier post, who paid for this trip? If the Vancouver team paid for it, would that affect his elgibility? If it did, and Pauly kept him on the team, wouldn't that mean that the team ...

The reason that Pauly was upset was that the EP player held Lawton's stick. After Lawton let go of the stick, the EP player broke it on purpose. Lawton retrieved his stick and then was not allowed to change as EP had already changed. That's why he was upset and called the timeout so that Lawton coul...

What I want to know is how Pauly snuck out onto the ice to put the "nick" there without anyone seeing him? I was watching the game on the net and the announcer spotted the "nick" from the other side of the rink before the 3rd period started. He must have pretty good eyesig...

Great reply MNHockeyFan! Seems there are those on this forum that have no problem bashing coaches from behind their computer without putting forth any facts. I don't follow a lot of HS hockey but I do follow BSM and agree with all that you said.

Besse....

Besse has one of the best shots in HS hockey. I've seen him score goals identical to his first goal during the season and was hoping that he'd take the shot. That being said, I've also watched games where he seemed sort of selfish. He had a 2 on 1 last night with a teammate wide open in front of the...

Pauly..

Mulefarm,

Could it possibly be that Pauly left Tonka and returned to Benilde for a better teaching position? Didn't he take Tonka to state while there? Seems to me that he's done a pretty good job at both places.
