Congrats to AV for posting the first upset in AA. I had a chance to see Cretin play a few weeks back vs WBL and it was a great game to watch. Whalin was fantastic and Cretin looked very solid. What surprised me was how young both teams were. Sounds like sicksauce23 had a bad experience with Cretin ...

Wait. Did somebody say Eagan got 2 power play goals? In one game or on the year? Eagan has a terrible power play worst of any of the top 10 AA schools in the state. My buddy was at the game tonight and said Eagan gave up 3 short handed breakaways and the game was closer than 5-0. Leads me to believ...

The deeply held belief in loyalty to team that is so pervasive in sports is the reason for the MSHSL transfer rules. Speaking of MSHSL rules- the kids 10 days suspension from school but if a player violates chemical policy it is 2 weeks from the sport but still stays in school. This is more severe?...

I was at the game SSM was rolling 4 lines and 6 d through the whole game and to me SSM did not have their normal intensity, it appeared the game meant a lot more for ST, not taking anything away from ST great game. ST really eliminated SSM's rebounds and lack of sustained pressure. FYI- STA rolled ...

He was without his two best teammates tonight and had plenty of good moments, simply wasn't able to score until the end. Which two didn't play and why were they missing? Versich has been out the last three games with some injury. I didn't see Dougherty on the ice all night, maybe I'm just blind, no...

Yes, rebound control is something Munson will have to work on but the Edina game was 1st or 2nd game of season and Munson has not played a lot of games in past 3 years so it was more game time than anything (made HM as 9th grader played 1 game, sat out 10th grade transfer, got some games last year)...

I mentioned this a week or two ago but Patrick Munson is best goalie that u don't hear anything about. He is very athletic and is tall and long. He will be in USHL next year and great chance to be D1 tender. I agree he is under the radar but I disagree he is more an NAHL guy- look at last years top...

maybe on the talent- but if that number of kids are getting junior opportunities are right something must have been wrong. I heard they played for the future- took a ton of freshman on JV and played 3 on varsity- only 1 belonged- the other 2 never played 1 game of JV. With a 500 record how else coul...
