You say Minnesota Hockey decided he can't do that. Who exactly told you this? Is this coming from your association president or district director? There are kids that are playing both association hockey and choice league. This doesn't seem any different. This is coming from Minnesota Hockey. They a...

Please Help
My son is a pee-wee goalie but also enjoys skating out. I thought I had the perfect solution and signed him up to skate out on a recreation team. Minnesota hockey has decided that if he skates out for recreation hockey he would disqualify his pee-wee team for district play or regional play. So they'...

Centennial v. Rum River B1 Pee-Wee Parent Melee
Eventually the footage will be found, and it will be sad/hysterical/intriguing. At the conclusion of last weekend's Centennial v. Rum River game the parents put their fists into action. Prompting the fight was the allegation of Rum River parents (and grandparents!) actively cheering when players fro...

Need a 2002 Tournament Goalie in June, July, or August?
I am currently looking for more tournaments my son can participate in this summer for AAA hockey. He currently plays '02 Miracle. Hard stats available upon request, but I think he's at 2.40 GAA and a Save % above 900. Unavailable: June 6-8; June 19-22; and August 21-24. Most interested in tournament...

Precision Hockey 02
They are the cheapest team I've ever seen play in a hockey tournament. They managed to amass 62 penalty minutes in 5 games, which two of the kids amassing 28 of those minutes. This is 02 hockey. Slashing, punching, kicking, elbowing their way to the International Cup Championship.
Congrats.
Congrats.

Meltdown Open Starts Tonight
Good luck to all the teams participating!
Any speculation, updates, or analysis is appreciated.
I'll be at the U10 Miracle Gold v. Blades at the Super Rink at 5:00 pm... then I'm headed to the Bloomington Ice Gardens to check out some of the later boys games.

How Much Does Your Association Charge Goalies for Ice Time?
Is it free? Is it half of what kids that skate out pay? Is it full price?

Lake Superior Stars - 2002
YouthHockeyHub has them rated as the fourth best AAA team for 2002s . . . only behind the Blades, Machine Orange, and EuroAmerican Red . . .which begs the question . . . Why are they playing in open tournaments?
They have kids rostered from Canada and Nebraska for Christ sake!
