I honestly took it as more of a slight to the Marshall hockey team, which I didn't necessarily care for. Give them a couple years with their 2 new ice rinks, I think they will be much improved. It's hard to compete in hockey with the metro and their year round ice and 10 min commutes to competition.

I could be wrong but I read it as Marshall would beat those 3 schools (chaska,simley,slp) in all sports but hockey. I disagree, especially in football. So I guess it is an inaccurate statement to me (more PC worded).

It has been my observation that a short bench is ok until it is your own kid that is on the bench. I've seen mothers crying and screaming one year and all smiles the next. They didn't care one bit about the other kids and their parents who just got shorted.

Lets just all call it how it is. It is the start of taking hard hits out of hockey and eventually checking all together. We all know its coming. The wussification has been going on for many years and is only going to get worst.
