Re: The Kids
I was going to vent about kickbacks but will hold my fingers. One way to improve hockey in minnesota would be to charge a fee to watch games and practices. say a buck or two for a practice. 5 bucks a game. 50 dollars a half hour to talk with the players coach or assistant. Minnesota hockey would hav...

Elite Tournaments
Hey Pucker 78 Actually the truely elite teams are all Canadian. Hockey in Canada the players, coaches, and the way the game is played is all around better. The Blades are able to compete and do well. But other clubs dont. There are some american clubs Little Ceasars Jr Bruins Mission They all strugg...

Re: Don Lucia's U-8 development philosophy
I am not a coach and never will pretend to be. I agree with Mr Lucia's comments. I have always believed my son gets more from playing shinny hockey than a weeks worth of structered practices. I also believe that the kids no more of how to win or who should be on any team. Parents let thier egos and ...

Re: Opinions and ideas
I am going out on a limb here. I have read thru almost all posts on this thread. And one item comes up again and again. A TEAMS! I agree not everyone should be on an A team. But there are instances when players have the ability and or talent and deserve to play at that level. Larger associations are...

Re: If you have ideas (opinions)
How about breaking up some of the larger associations?
Or shrinking there boundaries. White Bear has a huge area that they draw from maplewood kids would surley strenthen johnson and alot of Roseville players would help Como. North st paul would fit nicely into TC. Also Tartan Woodbury is begging...

Re: super series
The tournaments mentioned above are not truely elite. There are some great players and real good competition. Mostly its an anvenue for parents to buy goofy coats and hats. Where them and live vicarisouly thru thier children.
