Yes, they do send everyone a letter. All letters were sent late last week, so everyone should have theirs by today or tomorrow at the latest.

D-10 is a very good district, I would think all 20 could get the green light?

Does any body know why Lovick isn't going? Did I miss something?
Taylor Mattson-The Next Non-Mr. Hockey

I had the same question. Pretty surprised not to see Jordan Lovick's name amongst the other talented District 10 players. My congrats to those players listed.

Complete list

Post by sportsmum »

I am hoping the full list comes out this week. I keep checking the Minnhockey.org website, but they have not updated it since the 27th.

Does anyone have a list or partial list for D2 & D8?

Jake Brown from D10 is a great skater (maybe a little too physical). He played Hill-Murray JV as an 8th grader. I bet the drive from Chisago to Hill everyday gets kind of boring/long.

Lovick is a good player, but from my observations, he wasn't among the elite on that D10 team. I don't think he has matured physically enough to be considered a top player yet. I don't doubt his skills, which are very good and I think he will be a very good hockey player someday, but for now he is going to have to gut it out until he gets a little bit stronger.

As for Brown, I wouldn't necessarily say he is a great skater, but he does a pretty good job for his size. He is a big kid that plays physical with pretty good instincts. One thing he needs to work on are his hands, they're bricks. His passes can be erractic at times and he could be more fluid with the puck. I think he can be a much more complete player if he works on his hands a bit more.... oh, he has a cannon for a shot too.

Haven't seen a list so I don't know if he is going or not. If you know, you must be him? I think he is a great player he is so quick and he glides nicely. Needs to put on about 30 lbs though.
