Re: WBL VFW State Champs!
I'm sorry but it is a state tourny where you have to win a district tourny to get there. That is the definition of a state tournament.

Re: WBL VFW State Champs!
The VFW state tourny has a longer history than MAHA. There were many good teams there and it was played in hands down the best arena in the state. Some great games were played including 3 ot between DE and Roseau. I bet every Bantam player would like to extend their season.

ive gone to minnesota hockey camp for about 4 yaers now and it is great! the coaches know alot and it is fun but u still get worked. I agree with eagle hockey that the rides kinda suck but it is deffinetly worth it because the brainerd rink is pretty nice. I think anybody that has been there wud agr...

Re: Brainerd Bantam A
What is the question? This years BA team has talent but are mostly first year players. If you are asking about the high school team they are deep but graduate most of their stars this year. He will be coming to a good program that has many good players.

Re: Trolling, Trolling, Trolling...
I don't recall seeing small falls winning state either. I don't think trophies are the only thing that makes a program successful. If you go back and look at past state champs most were more successful recruiting top players than anything else.

Re: Brainerd
I was at the game also. I think Apollo was the cheapest team Brainerd played so far. After Brainerd built a good lead all Apollo did was run Brainerd players. The butt end #2 delivered was the worst thing I've seen in along time.

Re: and now the hockey game...
Elliot I think your prediction is right on. Brainerd has not been running on all cylinders yet. The goalie situation is a large part of it and needs to be settled asap. When one guy is told your the man that will make a big difference. I think the nod should go to the senior who has more varsity gam...

Re: Sauk Le Blurr!
Warriors dominated the game.Sauk scored 6 goals on 17 shots. They caught Snyder leaning at least 3 or 4 times and put the puck just inside the pipe. I think the netminders need to tighten up a little.Ollie looked real good. I thinked he's relaxed and is playing his game. Sauk have a couple guys that...

Re: Gettin Back to the topic
I find it interesting you guys think you can pick section champs after one game. It is a long road to the DECC. Teams have to stay healthy. An injury to one or two key players can change an entire season for a team. The teams with good depth will make the show. Teams that rely on a couple of studs a...

Re: Coach
Why is it that Brainerd is the only team that you see on this board that talks like this. The whining needs to stop. The parents who like to complain need to shut up and let the players decide how to be sucessful. The coach does a good job. Hard work will get you somewhere, crying and complaining wi...

Re: Enforcement
How does the dnr expect to log this area without using some type of equipment? Or will loggers be exempt? From what I have seen they do 100 times more damage even though logging is a valuable management tool seems like a double standard.Closing this area to vehicles would make 99% of it inaccessible...
