Had the chance to watch Brainerd play SC APollo last night. A few comments that came to mind... i noticed many NHL scouts, around 8 i believe, watching the game apparently watching number 11. I was also impressed with their first line, who made some very crafty plays and no look passes and a few snipes from the goal line. The downside of this topic is their fans. Ive never seen fans with such a loss of class. Numerous fans were driving around the parking lot yelling obscene things and their chants during the game where ridiculous. Anybody know how these Brainerd boys are supposed to do this year?<br><br><br>You stay classy Brainerd. <p></p><i></i>

I was at the game also. I think Apollo was the cheapest team Brainerd played so far. After Brainerd built a good lead all Apollo did was run Brainerd players. The butt end #2 delivered was the worst thing I've seen in along time. <p></p><i></i>

Here are some things from the last two playoff games with GR. Yelling obscenities are the GR cheerleaders. Taunting Patrick White when he was injured on the ice. Throwing things on the ice last year at the IRA. Blowing whistles during game play. Not to mention one of their players stomping on Tony Claftons wrist after the play while Tony was laying down in the crease. Now you know why I hope Rapids beats Brainerd 10-0 next week. <p></p><i></i>
