I will agree with TKO I was also unimpressed with the 16s tryout. I was in Duluth last weekend. The Talent level was very good but the performance of the players and the structure was poor. I also agree that there where many players that looked exceptional but none advanced. The Studs or Hotshots se...

My two cents
I agree with both Pucknutz and BBRollie, There is deffinately a reason why families gravitate towards one school or another. I personally send both my children to private school. They have attened since kindergarden. Reasoning behind are decision was personal thats all. In all Honesty we have discus...

Strong Teams Next Year
I for one am looking forward to the 07/08 season. The teams we all watched this past weekend will be strong and contenders once again. Some of the new section assignments will be interesting to see them unfold. The Sophmore class is very strong state wide. Eden prarie Centenial Edina Benilds St Thom...

Here are my thoughts.
If it is a Truely elite team. There really wouldnt be a conferance that would match up. As stated in an earlier post if the elite team where to play 5 to 6 elite teams during the season. that would be in my opinion a better gage of power. There have been a few teams in the resent past that have play...

Tourneys
Been there done that . My son has done em all. Confirming comments from earlier posts just have fun and play. As far as all the political crap. Whenever there are people and money involved there will be politics. The Fire and other orginizations do get shafted. But eventually those kids and thier sk...

The answer to the question is complicated. There are many more factors that come in play. First and formost is money. The cost of a tier one team is much more expensive then any association team. Second is talent. Associations just dont have enough talent. A district would. Third is travel You trave...

Does it really matter. Is this not like being picked homecoming queen. All flash no substance. I agree there are a majority of players that truely are deserving. But what comes of this anything? More ice? What. Politics why would anyone care what kind of bennifit does someone get by sending a kid to...
