I think the CODP is a good program for girls. Also I understand the Herb Brooks Training Center at the Super Rink has plans to get very involved in the support and development of girls. They are giving free 90 minute training sessions to teams on the north side and offer drop in training on Saturday...

Becca MacRostie the junior goalie for the St. Paul Blades. She is playing behind a very weak team but without her talent they could be losing by double or triple the scores.

Total Hockey (Hudson, Eagan & Minnetonka) and the new Herb Brooks Training Center (Super Rink) run great skill programs that could be of real help if you are already a great skater.

Breck 6, Blades 1 EN - I saw this game, and Blades goalie MacRostie continues to impress me even though that may sound odd based on the score. She's very solid. Breck is now 11-0 I believe? Becca MacRostie was on our summer team - I think she is the best junior goaltender in the sate and hope she g...

Rumor is true we were there. Nova Varsity, CDH Varsity and AHA JV. Very disapointing for the Nova and CDH Varsity teams that were there on a Saturday morning - more than an hour of ice went unused.

AHA Varsity were in Richfield practicing.

Nicole Welch is a top player but she is now at Cretin and I think playing LW

There are other top Cretin players who are juniors that should be on this list

Kaylee Keys is a top forward

Defense:

At Wakota it was Anoka, Hopkins, Andover and SSP. Hopins beat Anoka in the first game 4-1. Anoka's goaltending looks very good. They are big and can skate. Hopkins really spread the ice and moved the puck and had Anoka chasing them most of the scrimmage. Didn't see the rest of games - well run, good...

That is probably Maggie Pendleton she played last year as an 8th grader for Woodbury at forward and defense - (she put in an overtime goal against Simley early last year wearing a set of the coaches gloves becuase she forgot hers) last year and just started 9th grade at Cretin this fall.

Kelsay Scott and Amelia Knudson the 10th graders for CDH both looked very solid on the shots they had to play.

The three Hill goalies played well and made some big saves including the young 8th grader Ali McKeever.

Cretin had their second scrimmage, after playing Simley on Wednesday, played Hill Murray today. They each had a top half at Highland and the rest at Harding. The group at Highland played well again 8-0 or so.

It really showed the differences in boys and girls hockey it was interesting to see the girls adjust their game and quickly play on par. We scheduled games in August with our U16 ...

U16 was won by Walser U19 Blue 4-1 over Shattuck U16. They beat the OS U16 and the Team Wisconsin both by +6 goals. They beat the Walser U16 5-3. Not sure what happened in the 3rd place Walser versus OS game.
