Re: NHL Central Scouting Minnesota HS Player Rankings 12/13

Size is definitely the one thing that those players have in common. I think we'll start to see more smaller players in the NHL with the new rules and stricter enforcement of the already existing rules. Actually, the rule changes/emphasis at all levels will accommodate skill and not size...in my humb...

Not only the past few years....look at what Guy did with Jefferson back in the early 90's! I bet you that Ben Clymer would look you in the eye and tell you that Guy's the best...if he could see over his Stanley Cup ring that is.

Re: A vs. AA

I think this is a great board because people are allowed to share their opinions. It is frusturating at times to see some of the nonsense people post. In particularly, about Greg Trebil. It is very easy to look at those teams and just assume that Trebil recruits. Sorry folks, it's just not the case....

Re: coaches have been pushing for this

I think this is a great rule. Recent studies have shown that stretching before has little to no injury prevention benefit, but warming up properly helps tremendously. You can stretch all you want before you hit the ice, but getting the core temperature back up is what's important. It's amazing how m...

Re: Mounds View is likely looking for a new coach

Don't know coach personally, but I think the fact that WBL offerred him a position says it all. MV will never be much of anything as a hockey program if they let good coaches go on the whim of parents. WBL has been a top 5 program for close to a decade and this guy is good enough for them? Good prog...

Re: Re: Moving to Fargo/Moorhead

The restaurant business is like coaching...if you think you have an original thought someone has probably done it before. The best coaches are thiefs, just like the best restaurants. Grandma's does its fair share, but they make it better. I heard the G-Ma's in Fargo has especially good food wise, bu...

Most Hated

The teams mentioned as most hated: EP, Jefferson, AHA, Hill, East, Edina. Hmm...what do they all have in common? I'll answer my own question. They are all outstanding hockey programs, period. They also have class. I guess if that's the criteria for being hated, well then I would like to be part of a...
