Lz94 I'll stick by what I said...I thinks he's one of the best coaches in the section....that isn't saying much...when you look at the competition coaching wise in section 1AA..I think they have some returning talent this year and time will tell maybe my opinion will change.. Also...when I started o...

Excuse me if this issue has been raised, but I did skim most of the postings and what I did not read was any comments about the high school coach...does anyone one think that maybe that is a big reason why these kids leave Lakeville.. All of these kids would have probably made the South High school ...

I'll go out on a limb and pick Owatonna to take 1AA followed by Century South North Mayo and the rest... Not one of these teams is loaded with talent...so it will come down to which coach can get the most out of his players. Will Fish is one of the best coaches in this section (probably the best) I ...

I believe the teams from MN won 10 out of 16 games. The south lost their first 2 by a goal, but having never played or practiced together...they did very well and improved with every game. I am sure the same could be said for all 4 teams. I saw a couple of the other teams games and they looked very ...

better than last year. Should be a favorite for Lake title. With Edina added to section, should make for great section playoffs. More experianced offense with explosive talent in Barnes and Hendrickson. 3 solid D returning, maybe not as skilled or deep overall, but still solid. Very solid in net. Ex...

That article makes it seem like he didn't get support at Burnsville....but would lack of support lead to a suspension?? I don't know the facts of what happened...but have heard it was a non-hockey related incident. As far as his rep. at burnsville his record isn't bad, but I do know that the people ...

Smyth - Burnsville JR. Haeg - HA Jr. Goalies Sturlaugson - Burnsville Jr. Pluciniak - Chaska Sr. Swanson - Jefferson Sr. They rotate being rostered every other game. Anyone know who #71 was at the tryout? I watched about an hour of Sat. tryout and #71 really stood out. I heard he was a fresh from Ed...

number one Jiffy: I was simply replying to a topic that makes no sense. Your comparing apples to Oranges...Yumu= 2 years of Vars. playing every game with excellent save % and highly regarding by people outside of Lakeville. Arntz= a couple Vars. starts..less Vars finishes (pulled) 3 wins against A.V...

have not confirmed the SCSU talk yet, but I can tell you that he has turned down an offer for a full ride for next season from Alaska-Fairbanks and that he has had serious talks with UND UMD and WI as well whatever happens this kid will impact any team, his attitude and work ethic alone will improve...

1. Burnsville - return the bulk of last years squad..a lot of firepower...there coach IS the real deal...and new goalie from Lakeville North. 2. Rosemount - this should be (finally) the year for the Irish although I still question there D and goaltending..someone needs to be the #1. 3. Jefferson - I...

MSHSL RULE change...what is it REALLY for?
Soo I was on a jobsite today and I got in the middle of a friendly debate over the recent MSHSL transfer policies and the States involvement etc.. In this discussion I heard and shared points of view on both sides of the issue (the people involved ranged from Carpenters, plumbers etc..to engineers a...
