I read in the paper last week that FSN would like to broadcast all Twins games in HD, but then their production cost for the game is higher somehow, and they don't make any more money by broadcasting in HD.

Ticket Question

I plan on attending the Friday night AA semifinal session. Can somebody tell me what time it would be advisable to get in line in front of the box offices in the X to assure me a ticket? Thanks.

They can score, their defense is bad (their best d-man is out for the year), and their goaltending is also bad most of the time, pretty much sums it up. Oh and they take a whole lot of bad penalties.

I felt like Edina was good, but EP will be a stronger team. I felt like Jefferson proved themselves in th...

No doubt this a really good team but isn't Bloom/Jeff like 1 and 2 this season? What's up with that? Isn't Wes a Soph? Did he play JrGold A as a Frosh last year? This thread is from two years ago, so I think this kid was a senior last year. Anyway, no skater on Jefferson stood out as a dominating f...

How can we get more players to play Jr. Gold?

Some associations have Jr. Gold tryout or clinics before the high school tryouts. Does that help and how does it work?

Any suggestions?
Does not help.

Why in your opinion was the officiating poor at the JGA Tourny?
Refs deciding over half of the games outcomes by calling penalties and linesman blocking 20+ pucks going up the boards.

Bulldog, Edina is not over confident what-so-ever, i just feel like just because its edina, nobody gives them a chance. and thats funny you say its different hockey, because in regions, edina put down a very good team in wessys boy 4-1 to go to state. But thats fine dont give them a chance...with e...

Phillippi won the Brimsek award and took his team back to the state tournament...it's only fitting that he should be the 1st team goalie.. disagree, hes no where near the top goalie in the metro. He, like Cashetta is the product of an average goalie on a great team. With the team hes on and the sch...

But Duluth has also beaten Wayzata, and Bloomington this year, and battled Wessy's to OT. And also because the Northern teams do not compete in the Metro League their is no way to tell for certain how the would match up if multiple games were played each year against the league teams. So the Region...

How the hell are both the Northern teams not given the 7 and 8th seeds? They are definitely the weakest teams in the tourney. They should seriously consider changing how they set up the bracket if Duluth is not the number 8 or 7 seed.

Well obviously they did not have the quality or quantity of skaters try out. Every team goes through cycles between having dominating teams and weaker teams through the years.
