Bafta.....let me guess, you probably don't want kids to keep score either, thats usually what guys with your point of view are like. You are so much smarter than everyone else. Just give everyone a trophy. Hmmmmmm PS. Give it a couple months you'll be trying to scrape that O sticker off your Passat.

Whoever said that the decision for Mahtomedi to make 2 B teams was very touch and go because of their numbers...That is a silly statement. They had over 40 girls to make 3 teams. Not a problem anywhere else. Lets talk about numbers. Last year they had a 12uB team that was 23-0-1 and the u10s were al...

The claim is that it is too easy for kids to just dump the puck back in and doesn't teach them puck control. The problem with that position is that most of the off sides are just off by a fraction of a second where a kid is trying to make a play, miss times it as someone is almost back out of the zo...

I have been on this topic for several years. I have written Minnesota Hockey and USA Hockey. The replys I have gotten have been next to nothing. I lost a player 3years ago...ended his hockey and lacrosse career. He is now a senior in high school with a limp and scars. It needs to be called different...

morecowbells I love how people assume without the facts. The major peewee level Fire kids are not allowed to be in this tournament by their coach. They leave early next week for nationals. I know 5 or 6 who were going to play but had to bow out when the team won a regionals last weekend. The amount...

Thing to consider when getting sticks for kids. 1 - Get the right lie. Smaller kids should have a true 3 or 4 lie. Don't believe the number for lie that the stick manufactures put on the sticks or blades. Bring their current stick when stick shopping and compare the lie. Watch them carefully when th...

So the idea is to level the competition field among the associations that have the largest to the smallest pools of players. Great idea, but it does nothing for those stand out players from the smaller associations. They would now be missing out on the opportunity to play against the best overall c...

Someone missed the topic of the post(s). (And it was not Rocket.) Oh really.... I guess I thought it was about winter AAA vs MNHOCK in the winter. The individual posts, not the theme of the thread, were about the age of the MN HHockey board. Your response to this post was about local boards and why...
