Re: JustBob2
Come on JustBob2...lighten up...some people have busy evening schedules getting the kids fed and the house cleaned. The only time I and probably a lot of people have to themselves is at 12:30 at night! I would be more concerned if I were neglecting my kids and on the computer when I should have been...

Lakeville South has great new jerseys. I believe the design was created by Curt Weber the boys coach. Very nice!

Re: Lakeville
Her excessive crying after every game they lose shows the maturity factor. You win some, you lose some, that's life. I think the point many are trying to make is often at this age, they need to grow emotionally. Some girls are able to play at this level and some quite honestly aren't. It's a persona...

In other sports like Basketball...Chisholm coach Bob McDonald has been running the score up for over 45 yrs. It seems ok for him to do it but shame on the others. International Falls football coach has been doing the samething. Any comment on this?

Re: Handshake after the game
I agree. More than half I see just slap it anyway. I saw the way an E/P girls shook hands the other night. It looked like she thought she was going to get germs the way she did it. I hope she does it better at St. Cloud next year.

Re: Roch Mayo/Lourdes
Mayo has done a nice job on its schedule no doubt....they had too. Look at Lakeville North... Lake games and then top it off with North St. Paul and Creighton. I've seen the Panthers play and they will grind it out to the end. If their goalie is "hot" they will beat Mayo for 1AA. They too ...

Re: Re: let's clarify...
I couldn't not agree more with hockeygymnast. Well said and point definitely well taken. Don't forget what is most important. Where do you want to be long after high school and college? Well educated, someone with strong morals and values, etc. Athletics is so important in teaching those values such...

Re: Conference Previews
Section 1 AA is probably up for grabs again. Not that strong of a section.....but, if you're in it it's nice. I like Mayo in this one due to the fact they went last year. They should face Lakeville North again and that game should be a good one since Lakeville plays in the Lake Conference and battle...

Re: I don't think I agree
Zero tolerance does allow for little deviation. I don't want either of my children to be at the receiving end of a policy that is not enforced. When you work in schools with children you get a plethera of difficult situations that arise that put children's lives at risk every day. If you don't belie...

Re:Did the kids know?
I agree with traveler on most points. Unfortunately, we live in a generation where little is tolerated because of circumstances that have evolved through the years. With the history of violence in this country, where does one draw the line between what is "fun" and what is unacceptable. Ha...

To sum it up in a nutshell...what do you get out of dissing players and teams repeatedly?? I don't think that is the point of this board. "Class" goes a lot deeper than that...enough said.
