Blaine and Centennial... Every game is a border battle , and a clash between cousins Erik and Dave Aus. So much is at stake between these two teams every single time they face off!! the location of the mystery city is becoming more clear  Why not set the record straight here......This rivalry ...

Blaine up 7-1 after the 1st.
for real?

Well maybe he got scared? Seeing that the Bengals had posted 7 in the first period was worried his hornets might have to play them... Anyway the game should still go on tomorrow night and be fun to watch..

Blaine and Anoka Section 4AA Final....

Who goes to state? This is the third meeting for them this season and Blaine as taken both so far. Who comes out on top this go around? Is it third times a charm for Anoka, or another win for Blaine? Either way it should be one heck of a good game on Friday.

Choice #2 might be a lot like playing in the NWSC. Every night either team could win it, you have the cream of the crop near the top but that does not in anyway mean any one of the teams on the bottom can't come in and smack them in the mouth and take the "W" away from them...

Both teams also played their fair share of other opponents outside the conference, Blaine started the year with Cloquet, Theif River and Roseau and also played Brainered, Wayzata, and Burnsville, of which are very respectable teams, along with Centennial who picked up Morehead twice, Roseville, Holy...

Cinco, I think you mean a share of the title right? True you did beat Blaine 2 times but those are the only 2 losses in Conference play for Blaine. Anyway I am not gonna get into the whole ref thing the game was played and it ended how it ended we have to live with that, yet your mighty Cougars did ...

Did anyone else happen to notice in the third period when the FSN announcers were talking about the sections set up and they mentioned that Centennial had just gotten beaten by Maple Grove about 2 weeks ago, and how they might be some tough competition for Blaine in sections? It is ironic how they f...

You are correct BS the ref nearest the play typically never even made a motion to make a call, it always seemed to be the ref half way across the rink who got to see the play through a crowd, yet he still made it. Schwartz really seemed to be on his game and hopefully he can keep it going....

Some observations from the Blaine/ER Game on Saturday...After the first Blaine goal you could see the students on the ER side get a little nervous like "wow they just scored on us at home" than 20 seconds later you could have heard a pin drop from that side of the arena with the utter shoc...

If the Bengals come out and play a complete game like last night against Elk River they should win this one. They should have won the last meeting at Centennial but some poor goal tending was the biggest reason for that loss. Thursday should be a fun one with the Bengals coming out on top at Fogerty...

Blaine did win this one 4-2 it was a good game minus the 8 minute power play in the first that Elk River had. Than again there was a 6 minute power play the Bengals had in the second. Blaine went up early in this one 2-0 and in the last minute of the 4th penatly when it was 5-3 the Elks finally scor...

Bigsexy - so from my little opportunities to watch the Bengals play this year the coach if I hear you right Aus gets a hot goal tender and than when it counts and could really use him decides that its best to take him out? Is that what you are hinting at? In that case I would completly agree bring o...

Being the underdog, playing the underdog role is nothing new, I swear the majority of the sports world in the twin cities never fairly gives repsect where it is due. Blaine teams always seem to have to prove themselves and even when they do they still seem to get the short shift in terms of respect ...

Didn't someone post earlier that Blaine posted nearly 45 shots to NM 6 in the game last Saturday? You have to expect that if NM is to even stand a chance they might need to double or even triple that shot total to even attempt to put up a fight. Also if the Bengals decide that maybe shooting the puc...

This should be a good game and I honestly do not know who to take in this one....First off Blaine needs to come out and take out the Crimson tomorrow before even worrying about playing the Elks on Saturday. So I wont make any predictions on a score or outcome until after tomorrow.

How exactly does that work if Blaine was to lose to Centennial again but they still finish with the same record? Title share or since Blaine would have 2 losses to the Cougar...

This was an interesting game on Saturday night (Blaine/NM). I have to say I dont think I have been to a game with that many big open ice hits or big hits in the corners. However I thought there were times the officials may have lost a little control of the game with some questionable calls or no cal...

Lets not forget that this is the Centennial team that thankfully slipped by Coon Rapids 6-5 with a power play goal with 28 seconds left in the 3rd to pull out the victory. So not saying that Maple Grove is not a bad team or one that can be pushed over but this should be a battle and a good game. I a...

Centennial escapes with a one goal victory over the Cardnials with a power play goal with 28 seconds left in the 3rd. What happened in this one? Did they over look Coon Rapids and prepare for Moorhead a game early?
