AA - All Tournament Team

Most of the team was very disserving of the honor, but what about any individual from the consolation side of the tourney? I thought that Ness and the other Roseau player didn’t deserve it; I’m not saying that they aren’t good players. Ness is easily the best in the state (Mr. Hockey) but if he play...

St. Thomas

So today in the pioneer press there was a preview for the state tourney. and within giving info on each team, it listed the enrollemnt of each school. i saw that st. thomas had over 1,000 students enrolled. does this make anyone else upset? they are still considered class A whent he enrollment is th...

BSM has Ken Pauly behind the bench. He is possibly one of the best game coaches around. He has 2 A Champs to his credit and took a average Minnetonka team to the AA tournament 2 years ago. BSM 4 Royals 2 sorry but i'd rather have bolin behind the bench. one of the top coaches in the state, no quest...

1. Hill goes 2 and out for a second straight year!!! (I loved seeing hill players on the ice crying last year after losing 2 in a row)

2. Private Schools and the green monster go down!!!

3. This leaves for a Roseau vs. Woodbury final. (Rematch of last years quarterfinals)

and Woodbury played their backup goalie in the Blake, Andover, and Hopkins game this is the playoffs, everything from the season is thrown out. look at woodbury last year when they beat hill murray and only lost to edina by 1. if they would've played either of those teams in the middle of the team ...

i would love to see hill lose again this year but its probably not going to happen. they got the best draw out of all the teams, look for them to have an easy win before the loss to Roseau.

Benilde 5-2. Woodbury lost to Blake, Hastings, Andover and Hopkins, all teams that Benilde would beat. this is true, however most of those losses occurred in the middle of the season when woodbury was plagued by injuries. they beat hastings 6-0 the second time they played them and are the hottest t...

i agree with that, anyone know how many people are enrolled at STA? the should double whatever it is and if they are still considered to be in class A keep them there but if not move them up. i dont know why this has never been an issue before. measuring by total enrollment is a stupid way of decidi...

if they can compete with AA, then why dont they when it really matters, in playoffs!! especially a private school, c'mon. step up and switch to AA and then see how your team matches up in the playoffs. there's no comparison between A and AA. they should play all their games at mariucci where they co...

i dont think anyone will be able to beat woodbury in the playoffs, no one will prepare their kids as good as Bolin will for woodbury. he has done wonders for that program in 3 years. brought them from a bottom of the barrel team to section semis 1st year, section finals 2nd year, state tournament 3...

who cares anyway, its class A. play with the real men at AA! STA should make the jump like Roseau did if they're so good. they dont even fill the bottom bowl of the xcel, i'd rather play in front of 18,000.

this section is possibly the worst section i've ever seen. they should all just hang up their skates now cuz whoever makes it to the big show is going to go 2 and out. i dont know why they didn't send rosemount or a team like that to that section whent they remade them last year. instead we have a b...

this section is out there for anyone to take. there are 4 or 5 teams that could come out of it but i like a final between rosemount and woodbury with woodbury winning it. they're the only team that has players who've been made the playoff run before, even though their top 3 defenders are sophomores....
