There is always a small group and/or one parent that believes his or her child is better than he is. Gripping is the 2nd oldest profession and is usually the same gender as the oldest profession. Everybody knows who it is, so the bottom line is to simply ignore them and eventually they will go away....

Coaching. Hmm..... White Bear has a coach. Mounds View, Hmmmm ???

What is White Bear going get, if they oust their coach ? They'll be in the same boat as MV. Compare MV and WB records the last 4 years. Wow !

Be carefull what you wish for ! You might get it !

Let's stop kidding around. Roseville by whatever score and in whatever time. Unless Stillwater has Hasek between the pipes, they have no chance. That doesn't mean that Stillwater won't make a game of it, but they can start polishing their golf clubs now. In terms of a Tartan upset by the winner, Tar...

Section HILL/Bear - Oop's 4AA - It's been a while since this section has been up for grabs. It all depends on which team brings it's game and goalie. Tartan, Roseville, White Bear and Hill are the favorites, but Stillwater and Mounds View are serious dark horses. Stay tuned.

Jake Elms - Mounds View High School This kid has great moves and HEART. Tough to get the puck from this kid along the boards or corners. Only 5'10", but solid as a rock. Great shot - slap and wrist. See's the ice very well. A real sleeper when it comes time to moving up. I guess his dad played...

What's up with MV Hockey !

I can't believe some of the posts I am reading. Did some of you actually attend school ? If you did, you skipped English class. Please.......preview your posts for grammer. Let's end the banter and speculation about the kids. They are all good kids and have earned the right to much better and far m...

Mounds View Hockey

I believe that someone has to inform the AD at MV that his coaching experiment isn't working. Present coach is a Class guy, but out of his league. Not cut out to coach at this level. No lynch mobs like in '04, just a simple non-renewal of contract and try to improve with the next coach. These kids d...

MV Hockey

They are improving with each game. Might be a surprise toward the end.

Some real talented players, Elms, Bradley, Goldsmith.

Some hard luck between the pipes. Hard to replace a Civello.

They need a bit more bench inspiration.

They come to play though, as they should.

Best Coaches in Section 4AA

Sager and Nitti at White Bear Lake are Tied with Pauletti at Roseville.

Both staffs seem to get the most out of their players.

I like Lechner, but always has more horses than most.
