I saw the game, it was much closer than the score indicates; Some empty netters. I gotta give it to Richfield, they put up a good fight. I wouldn't want to play them come time for sections.

I think they've got a shot as long as they can put the puck away. STA is young and if richfield can get ahead early, I think it will be interesting.

Richfield is a tough place to come into and win right now; Tartan found that out. The Spartans are on an eight game win streak and you can bet they'll be ready to play this one.

If STA can stay outta the box and keep Hill's first line in check, they will do fine. If not, i'm sayin HM 6 STA 2

Despite being outplayed, Richfield had many chances to tie the game in the first and second periods but could not get it done before STA scored late in the second period to make it 2-0. STA scored their third goal on an empty net.

Richfield played them twice last year losing by only a goal each time so i wouldn't underestimate them. My guess is Richfield will be pissed off from the beating Hill Murray put on them Thursday night; should be a fun one to watch.
