Great matchup at the John Glas Fieldhouse tonight!! Minnesota State Mankato rolls into beaver town. Yikes. 4 power play goals, 3 during a 5 minute elbowing penalty on Read. A fall from #1 in Pairwise before the game to #3 (not that big a deal). Just a bad night. If they stay in the top 4 pairwise, ...

I share many of the same sentiments as hockeyjunkie2. Hersch is a senior and is getting his chance. I have been to 3 games so far and the kid gets beat high as he drops as soon as the shot is taken. When you are not tall to begin with, this is a problem. Did not see Gretz play against Mounds View bu...

thanks for the website observer. Interesting to see how the Canadien fans are. Lots of opinions on the various players and wide ranging. Kishel goes from being out of place to maybe something is there to whatever. Similar comments for McDonagh and Fischer. The videos really show the importance of be...

Before anybody gets all worked up over not making it to the final 51 or the national festivals in St Cloud and Rochester, NY, just remember this is just one of the many evaluation processes out there. Recent Minnesota hockey players that never made it to national camps as 15, 16, or 17's include Bla...

High school to Juniors - Spring 2007
I was looking at some rosters of USHL teams and see that several HS players are rostered on the USHL team. Players on teams that lost yesterday now can either go play weekends in juniors or move to that city and enroll in HS. Other will have to wait a week if they are playing in the state tourney. J...

Re: Blaine vs. Burnsville
This one could be very interesting. Blaine has a nice squad but left Anoka around in a section final. Burnsville had a very hot goalie for at least one game.... The Burnsville goalie has been very good at least for the past 2 games. In the 3 overtime win over Eagan, he had 46 saves and BV won 3-2.
