so reidy whats the verdict? did you even touch the ice in high school? There are a lot of fans of hockey that never touched the ice, what're you trying to prove here TPS? The kid is a fan, and he offers his opinion on his team, so what does it matter if he never touched the ice? I critique the Wild...

If a senior forward is not seen to be in the top 3-4 lines, and a senior defensemen is not in the top 6, why would a coach keep him? The kid can't play JV, and he's not seen as a varsity contributor. What is more humiliating for a kid, to get cut, play Junior Gold, and have fun doing it? or sit the ...

All you people coming down on Hurd must not have been watching the guys in blue, because I saw on many occasions, Orono players making obsene gestures towards the Mound bench, punching players in front of the net, being just as "classless" as Hurd. He plays tough, that's what he does, if y...

The X during the tournament. Dick Stanford. When you hear those smooth tones call out the word soph-o-more, you know what time it is. Good guy too. I walked into a waiting room during surgery for my mom at United Hospital, and there he was volunteering. Guy pours a mean cup of coffee and it was nic...

mnpuckfan I don't quite see your logic here. Because Wilson probbly won't be the tender you don't see Orono scoring a lot? He is the goalie. If anything it means Orono will have to show more offense. Without a solid tender Orono has to come ready to play and hope that Johnny "Club Sandwich&quo...

It seems to be that a lot of people in this thread are looking at Orono to upset, but I just wonder if those people saw the game in which Mound dominated 7-2. Game 1 was Horgan-less for the White Hawks, while one person does not make a team, look at the record of Mound when Horgan is in the lineup, ...

Orono vs. Mound Westonka Round 3!

Game 2 was dominated by Mound 7-2

what happened at the mound fergus falls game? I was at the game, it was a bad night for the White Hawks. Nelson wasn't at his best, was pulled after the 5th FF goal. Mound appeared to be looking past the Otters, then when they found themselves down early, they didn't know what to do. Not a good way...

Nelson actually has 3 assists this year, has been close to getting a couple open-netters too.

Huge implications tonight when Rochester Lourdes comes up to Mound. Lourdes beat both Blake and Breck earlier this season, if the White Hawks knock them off, you gotta think there is a legitimate arguement for Mound as the #1 seed based on like-opponent.

Dominated?! Were you at the game even? Yeah HF outshot Mound, but a majority of the shots were harmless ones from outside the slot or from the point. Nelson played extremely well, but to say that HF dominated that game is far cry from the truth. mound 3 HF 1 HF once again dominated but couldnt score...

Huge matchup next Saturday (1/19) Orono at Mound Westonka. No matter what the records are, or how they've been playing lately, these games are a blast to watch. SCC 2 Mound 1 Kind of looked like a sloppy game tonight, but none the less a win for SCC. Anyone know the shots? I think the shots were like 35-22 in favor of SCC. I don't know if I'd use sloppy to decribe the game, both teams played pretty well inside their own zones, not much in terms of offensiv...

The way the season has been going seems to point that Mound will be near the top this year. However, it's hard to bet against Blake this year too. Orono looks to be falling well below expectations, and Providence Academy is playing really well. Breck, being Breck, is always a contender... 1. Mound-...

Should be pretty evenly matched. Mound is REALLY banged up, lots of injuries and sickness, obviously not having Horgan for the rest of the season is going to make it rough. Defense is going to come up big. Not sure much about Hopkins, except they beat Hermantown earlier this year, which Mound lost t...

How much depth does Mound Have? All I here about is #9 and Zach Johnson. Horgan and Johnson are the studs, no doubt, but the White Hawks have one of the most talented 2nd lines in the state. After seeing them play a couple times, I'd say they rival a lot of team's 1st lines. They've got a deep team...
