Isn't Drew LeBlanc from Silver Bay?Pioneerprideguy wrote:Ya gotta give Plante credit, he is doing a great job of deflecting the real reason Hermantown got beat...they were outcoached! The refs didn't blow the lead, Hermantown did. Accept some responsibility Mr. Plante and you would earn more people's respect.

Question: Why doesn't the Elite leagues invite the Minnesota Blades to compete in the Elite 1 and the Elite Development leagues? IMO, it makes sense to give more MN kids some exposure versus the Colorado Rampage. That would be too much of an ego blow to Russo to admit there might be something else ...

This one is hard to figure. None of these kids will be hurt by playing another year of high school. I'm having a hard time seeing the upside to it. It just makes you wonder if there isn't a reason they all want out. If they are all that good wouldn't you stay and try and win a state title? I know v...

Re: The sky is falling?
The Elite League was only able to fend off the early exits for so long. The dilution in that league will only get worse now considering the financial condition it is in too.auld_skool wrote:http://www.mnhockeyhub.com/news_article ... 32770-news

Not sure what train u just stepped off but there was no one in the coaching ranks that said BSM wouldn't win this year. After the elite league it was consensus they would (and should) win their section as the other schools couldn't keep up recruiting wise Note that I was responding to another poste...

....what really did the BSM coach do? Get 6-7 division 1 players to play together? Obviously the majority of Pauly's coaching peers disagree with you. Not many of the "experts" gave BSM much of a chance to win their section, much less State. And naturally, many of the same "experts&q...

While I'm sure there is a better way, no system would be perfect. In 2011 the 3rd leading scorer in the league never got to the National development camp as a junior the same year. Not sure the North gets hurt any more than city kids, 4 metro teams and 2 northern...I would imagine that the North ge...

Nothing against either coach as I'm sure they are great coaches and great people. MSHSL stresses it's not about winning to the HS coaches but then time after time they give the coach of the year award to the coaches that have great success in the win lose catagory. The MSHSL doesn't give this award...
