Yea there to chicken to play in the A league even though they got 2nd in state last year its easy to look good when you should be playing A and play down at the B level Teams must declare whether they will contest A or B in August. Most teams have no idea who or how many skaters they will have. I h...

Part of the problem is that the clubs must commit to A or B level in August. Most programs do not know what skaters they will have at that point. It seems like an A team needs at least 2 lines of skaters with high school experience to be competitive. I don't think most B teams have that kind of tale...

Wingman, we have a lot of respect for you and your team, and were cheering for you at playoffs, I was in the middle hugging all the woobury mom's after woodbury scored to win, then I ran down to the ice and gave brent a hug and to say congrats to the team, I was on the ice handing out trophies. Any...

Re: IGH-RED=the bosses
headline explains it all...IGH-Red are the dominators...RAVE wasn't nearly as good as buffalo..we had an off game 7-5 was the score of IGH vs. RAVE. buffalo must have had an off game today vs woodbury. basically D8 teams kicked a$$ this year. It's been a fun year and i'm sad to have to hang up my s...

What a great hockey tournament, all 8 teams provided great games. I have been a part of youth and high school hockey and this is the best bunch of players and fans I can remember. Every team I saw, and I watched them all, played their hearts outs. I watch the effort not the talent. IGH, congratulati...

to be fair, the D-8 teams played some weaker teams, sure the twelve goals are impressive, but i dont think that it is a truely fair assesment of their skill. why won't you just leave it that D8 is the equal of metro. 2 teams in the final 4. If metro had beat those teams that bad you would have call...

woodbury scored the first. but that was about all they did. Perri Giourard really is what won IGH the game. That along with the 4 goals from his teammates. Woodbury played a lot better than the score indicated. Dangles congrats to IGH on a well played game no cheap stuff just good hockey. I am sure...

Explain to me why hep is good for Jr Gold but not for JV or Varsity boys are the same age, hell why not college and NHL. Do we outgrow our need for hep?
I am all for rules that put a premium on clean play and skill, it players can't follow them, take them off the ice, that's how it designed to work.

Good thoughts on the subject, time. I didn't think this was a bad idea a few years ago, actually saw it break tie in A Bantams between a goon team and a good skating team. The teams at the top seem more concerned with playing sound hockey, the teams at bottom get frustrated and play cheap to make up...
