I'm sure many players/parents are but all should know that so much goes into the selection process. Placement from all sections, Not too many from one team, yes politics. Most don't know that every year the selections MUST have a certain percentage of new players. If you're a WBL fan Goaliedad you h...

I like both 8 and 10 for WBL saw about 10 games including the game against Edina in playoffs. To me 10 is the better all round TWO way player does everything digs in the corners, passes first, great vision, speed, hands and can score. 8 is has the hands and quickness but a little soft at times which...

My opinion as always is BEST players should make it period. Best players at camp PERIOD! Picking from all over the state??? Best players should make it no matter where they're from. They do this on the girls side also and makes no sense to me. Oh and don't forget the fact that a name also helps in a...

Wow. A ton of talent. I've seen many of these girls play and many deserving of D1. I know some chose to play D3 over D1. D1 schools misssed on evaluations on many of these girls. Very deep class...

I'll add my two cents.

Leaving Hayley Hill from WBL off is a JOKE. 62 POINTS! Yes, others might also deserve it but 62 POINTS.

People in charge did not do their homework.

Back to the question.

Good luck to both Roseville and HM it's going to be a great game. Please don't be mad Roseville but and I can't believe I'm going going to say it but I think I'd like to see WBL SE (HM) make it this time.

Krissy Wendell would chew her up and spit her out. Krissy had all the tools. Brandt who has a lot of nice tricks in her bag is a very nice player but lacks explosive speed. Which is generally major component in the higher levels for super Stardom. She will do well in her college career. I don't thi...

Congrats to Roseville and HM. Both earned the right to advance to the finals. A couple of great games at Aldrich. ..........one of the best young women's hockey player in the world. In my opinion, history will prove Hannah Brandt to be the best female hockey player to ever come out of Minnesota and...

Congrats to Roseville and HM. Both earned the right to advance to the finals. A couple of great games at Aldrich. I do have to bring up the "elephant in the room" if you will. WBL's #34's penalty w/ about 7 seconds left was nothing more than an intent to injure one of the best young women...

I've seen all the top teams and in my opinion yes I might be a little bit of a homer but WBL is the deepest team and are getting all the bounces for a change this year. Roseville and Stillwater's strongest player is at defense and it's hard to skate end to end against a team that is deeper. Hill mig...

Such a sad day. It was a honor to know him. He truly loved his family and only wanted them to be happy. Hockey was secondary and he always had only good things to say about everyone. He will be missed.

And he will be watching from above.

Can the girls still choose where they play? If so they could overide the parents and have a very strong team. What ifs..

Almost forgot Hastings another team who can beat anyone on any given day.

Sorry!

I've seen a few games this year and feel the talent level is down. Goalies look smaller and the games I've seen seem like there isn't those 2-3 strong lines and more like 1. Games are 5,6,7 to 1. Still good hockey as all are in the same boat. In the WBL vs Irondale game it seemed like it was Lorence...

Roseville has had strong programs at the youth level. In fact the year WBL won the state tourny I feel it was only because Roseville was upset in the semi's. I'm pretty sure Roseville won every match up with WBL during league play.

Agreed! Thoughroughbreds are a nice fit for girls who are looking to play more games, get noticed and who are more physical. I love that Crysta Lowell chose to tryout. It will be great for her and feel she will have a excellent chance to play college hockey. Marci will definitely help her. This will...

I know for a fact that Rachel has many opportunities. I'm sure she wants to visit schools before she decides. Which I would think all would want to do.

She is a great player and will surely play D1 hockey.

Heard the same. I'm very happy that UOM is getting back to recruiting Minnesota girls.
