No doubt, this is the toughest regional by far. Gotta admit though, this would be awesome..... Air Force over Minnesota     Even thought Minnesota is the #1 seed, i don't think they deserved it, the honor should of gone to the Irish of Notre Dame how did minnesota not deserve it...

Also look at what happened the last time he played North Dakota... His infamous goal... It wasnt lack of skill... it was lack of concentration... He was ready to get back for those mistakes last night... Although he nearly cost the gophers the game a couple times in the last minute he played great o...

People did go nuts early in the season and all over the NWSC. What happens if anoka joins with coon rapids next year? Anoka is losing 2 senior, both forwards, and coon rapids is losing almost everyone except bona. Anoka played with a JV team with basically all 7th and 8th graders, all U14 eligible. ...

I think you're missing the point entirely, or you simply believe that 7th, 8th, 9th graders that are U12 &/or U14 eligible should be playing JV. This is the dilemma that we're facing with U14/JV considerations that are making the transition difficult between Youth & HS. Why can't 8th and es...

A coach needs to be able to "cut" kids even in co-op scenario as to pick a true Varsity team - and also you would like to enable a coach to send U14 and U12 eligible kids back to those respective levels as you would hope such a co-op woudl make those teams viable too. A no-cut policy woul...

Is this true about private schools too? They're good for students until a year that they recruit well?

I don't understand why anyone would want to break up this co-op. North Metro was certainly not a super power during the regular season (10 losses or ties). Mostly 1 or 2 goal games against conference and suburban teams. Nice to see some girls from struggling programs (Osseo, Tri-City) get a chance ...

GO COACH GRAVEL!!!! Is that better What did he do this year? He took 3 subpar teams, put them together and made a team that could actually compete. If other teams were able to do this like park center was the teams would actually be 3 lines deep. For being an allstar team as thier name suggests (st...

North Metro only has one girl not from park center or osseo and that is the goalie kreuter on their varsity. A lot of strategic choosing went on there but good luck to them at state. Much rather see them than Coon Rapids there

Since when did the "A" tournament count? Everyone knows that SSP opted out of the AA tournament so that they had a chance to win state. They didn't have the depth anymore so they moved down. What would happen if we just made the A bracket a rebuilding tournament for everyone else when they...

He's a solid goalie but has mental lapses and doesnt take every save seriously, such as his famous goal and even the umd series last year with his drinking incident, but when he concentrates he plays great.

Girls hockey will never get the attention that guys hockey gets. That's a given it's not as attrative as guys hockey. Second, there are many other games that are not played at the "Big Show" and is it a dissapointment? maybe. But last years championship was deffinately not the best game of...

The SSP 2005 team was good but in my opinion aren't worthy of a "top 5" rating they lost to stillwater in the regular season and then were nearly beat in a first round game of state by Anoka, Anoka breakaway sitting on the goalies pad turned around to be the SSP game winning breakaway goal...

Great game saw the game on tv and wondered why FSN was even covering it, expecting East to kill Buffalo. Great game by the Bison. The crowd deffinately helped them out. I dont think this will happen again in section they will be out in the semis.

I am from anoka but am trying to be unbiased here

The Sections have been set up like this for years and brackets are "remade" every two years. Why change things now? The BCS has proven that they still can't find a good system and any time you have human voting the underdogs will be screwed. So why not just leave things as they are and win...
