Hey puckhead, I’m here, still living, still breathing. Congrats to White Bear on a win in a very highly thought of tournament, for they deserved every right to be in a state tournament, they were a very, very good team.

I personally, take both sides in this matter. Re: 1st goal
I honestly could not tell. I just remember making the save the puck popping up and a heard the kid hit it but, I didn't see if it was a high stick or not. Sure it would have changed the outcome of the game because it would have been 0-0 after two instead of 1-0. But, nothing you can do about it now....

Re: Orono/Jefferson
Thanks. No excuses to be made. You guy's plan and simple out played us. It was that easy. That #11, Gallus, on your team is a great player. He had a great game. He got me on that 2nd goal, that was a great shot and same with the 1st. Whoever that was on your team who batted that puck out of the air,...

When I left Centennial was up 6-1 with 6 and half minutes left.

The Orono/Jefferson game was a good one. Jefferson dominated the majority of the first and second periods and had 4 or 5 powerplays to Orono's 1. Jefferson did a really good job of keep Orono's scorers under control and not letti...

Well 5 of the 17 players go to different schools. And, it has nothing to do with skill level, it's the size of the school.

--When the going gets tough, the tough gets going--

Nah, I don't do predictions in tournaments I am involved in. I'd say Centennial is the favorite but I'd like to see Eagan pull an upset. Best of luck to both teams!

--When the going gets tough, the tough gets going--

Re: north kids...
Well about 4 or 5 years back Orono Bantam A's took the consolation title. 2 years ago as peewee's we went to state but lost 1-0 to White Bear and 5-4 in OT to Centennial. As for the high school they have been rather successful the past 6 or 7 years. 2nd and 3rd in state respectively a few years back...

Elliot,

That is a very interesting stat your bring up. First of all, is Northern hockey as strong now as it has been in the past? I don't see any Sertich's,Houser's,Guyer's coming out? Although, you have Lee and Oshie who are both making big impacts on their team as freshman. As well as Golig...

Re: Greenway
HAHAHAHAHA...Duluth, we beat them 9-1 about 2 weeks ago(shots were also somewhere in the 55-8 range). Just thought I'd throw that in there. Their goalie is solid, but I wouldn't say he is outstanding. And one good year in 100 years? Not so sure I would go that far either, but that's your opinion and...

VHS,

Greenway is extremly under average. They would be in the bottom 2 in pretty much every single metro district(2,3,6,8,10). They may be an average team for up north though, but not in the state.

--When the going gets tough, the tough gets going--
