By David La Vaque and Jim Paulsen, Star Tribune staff writers Governors project to have 15 players in program next season St. Paul Johnson boys' hockey coach Steve "Moose" Younghans called next year's projection of only 15 players in the program "as concerning as it's ever been."...

I know Urick at Minnetonka does not work within the district at all. Side question, how much does a typical head coach make from just coaching? If they work in the district is that simply included in their contract? The normal range is between $4,000-$7,000, and extra-curricular activities are a se...

Handful that I can think of that aren't in the school system, other than to coach: Edina, Minnetonka, Wayzata, Stillwater, Moorhead, Buffalo, Bemidji, Brainerd, Johnson, SPA, Holy Angels, Providence, St. Louis Park, Coon Rapids. So not a trend, but not a small percentage either. Holy Angels, Greg i...

Is it just me or does anybody find it troubling that the MSHSL can basically do whatever it wants? Why can't we have the coaches sign off on something like this??? It is a MAJOR change that should not just be made quickly with no approval. Taking checking out of Peewee hockey, and now this drastic ...

Well, I will throw in my votes but its solely based on filming a game and where I have been. The X Ridder Aldrich = Breamar just get there hour and half before. BIG....only to watch and playoff atmosphere. The filming is bad. They have different colored temperature lighting. Shattuck Plymouth PIG Pa...

Re: Chaska beats AHA
Holy Angels loses their first conference game in how long? 10 years? It was the third day in a row they played a game. Third game in a row excuse again?? Give Chaska their props for playing out of their minds after a tough season. Some day Would be great to see that Holy doesn't get penalized being...

Wow, congrats to Chaska on the win and congrats to Holy Angels on a great streak... I don't know the history of the conference or teams in it, but this is Chaska's first year in the conference. Definitely odd that it came to a team who's in the conference for the first year. Well they were having p...

It would be nice to see more teams in the top ten Play SSM...I was hoping it was going to be close They did stay with them for about half the game... I think Hill would make it a game but SSM would wear them down.... Zamman - With similar scores between Shattuck and AHA and Hill and AHA and having s...
