Dog, either you are being sarcastic, or you meant to say that you were impressed with Mankato. Or he is talking about the player named Litchfield for Mankato West. 8) #-o How confusing! Why did they have to name their family the same as the town?! They Didn't. He is From Mankato West. Litchfi...

Re: The history of section 206

I was wondering if a few of you can fill me in on the history of this section and why it has built up so much hype over the years. I noticed one game, as far as I know it was the original section 206 kids, in the 2002 state tournament. I believe it was made up of Roseville students. They were ranke...

The West players will surely wet themselves in front of 1500 screaming fans and daytime TV.. This one will be over quickly 8) Actually I think West will thrive off of this. They are an extremely confident group, maybe even considered cocky, they love the attention. The more screaming fans and TV th...

1. A Championship that I can watch in person with my expensive scalped tickets that isnt a blowout

2. I agree with L. South beating HM, that would be perfect.

3. Roseau pull a patriot act and go 30-0 before losing to Cloquet in OT 2-1

Re: "People watching" at the tourney

Who do you like to see between games and periods? I think the diverse groups really add to the atmosphere. Ex NHL'ers, mini mites in oversized jerseys, scouts, hockey reunion groups, students proudly wearing their school colors? Or Girls....I'm hitting the border line so this might be my last year ...

The news coverage thus far has been terrible. For other sports it seems like there is a prep extra every night. Maybe it's because the hockey market is smaller. But the tournament coverage is always good. The hockey market in Minnesota is way bigger than for any other sport. How many people do you ...

After looking at this more I realize the 4 seed should go to Mankato West. I know a lot of you will be calling out their weak schedule but we must give them credit for a season with only 2 losses. The 2 losses came to 2 very good hockey teams in Lourdes and Albert Lea. Teams the eventually beat to ...

I know this isnt the college forum and this will get moved, but I tried it there with no response. Hopefully with everyone checking the HS...

I hope Mayo and Owatonna win but I don't think either will, plaing Lake teams prepares teams better than playing Big Nine teams. Mayo has a better chance but I doubt they'll be plus 6 in the man advantage column and I doubt a puck will come from "the crowd" again. Hopefully Mayo gained so...
