This thread is getting totally out of hand and totally rediculous!!!!!!!!! The reason and ONLY reason a kid leaves high school is because of the parents ego!!! Nobody and I mean absolutely NOBODY will convince me there is another reason, ever!! All the parents that let their kids go have absolutely ...

Thanks "townclown" for helping me understand the Wisc Fire teams. I think I have a better handle on it. No, I don't have a 10 year old kid on Edina squirts (I was just using it as an example). Now, the big question: Why would you have your kid play for the Fire when he's already in an orga...

Would someone please help me understand the teams for Wis Fire? It is my understanding that the players for these teams come from other organizations. Example: I have a 10 year old playing on Edina squirt level, but I want him to play on the Fire team, so I get ahold of someone (whoever it may be) a...

I agree with Southernhockey, it's tough to beat a team 3 times. I wish I was there to watch. It's going to be a great game. It's too bad that the loser is out, but that's the way sport playoffs work. Sometimes it seems unfair. Good luck to both teams.

I agree with you Elliot. I also believe that Roseau and EGF will end up 1 and 2, but it could be in any order. EGF has been playing some good hockey I hear.

Watchdog, I'm with you on this. How would you like to spend the "Weekend at Bernie's"? I bet Bernie played Bernie in that movie. His brain cells are dead and he skates like he water skis. Bumping from pylon to pylon. He is hilarious!!! If you took his computer away from him then he would h...

This is the first time I've read this thread. I've avoided reading it because of the subject. All I know is, I could only read the first couple of threads and I had to go to the bathroom and throw up. You people need to get a life!!! BUT, other jokesters are reading this so get back on the board and...

You are 100% right "Skime Store". If this board gave a brain scan before you could post "Undercover Hockey Lover" would only be allowed to color and I'm sure he wouldn't be able to color in the lines. \:D/

You are absolutely right "breakout". Parents are parents and most of them realize after they fly off the handle that they need a reality check.(Like I flew off the handle about attorneys)

The problem in todays world is "attorneys" PERIOD!!! They started this BS and now everyone wants to sue. Spill coffee on yourself "I'm going to sue". It's a gong show. If your kid doesn't make the "underwater basket weaving team" "I'm going to sue the team, the bas...

I totally agree with you (5th line center), there is no "I" in team. Most of us have seen, at one time or another, a parent coach favors his or her kid especially at younger ages. I've even seen it at the Bantam age (it was horrifying). After visiting with several people, Oliver is like th...

Speaking of Bantam A's. The teams that went to State 2 years ago as Pee Wee A's were: (I believe the games were in Duluth?) - EP - Wayzata - Duluth East - Roseau - Grand Rapids - Lakeville (North or South--can't remember) Can someone help me with the other two teams? A person would have to think (ba...

In my opinion, parents are reliving their childhood in their kids. I don't see an "I" in "team". People who tell their kid it's up to them is a bunch of BS. The question should be "What would be best for the TEAM" Parents have tunnel vision and they always will. I'm not...

Nick Oliver

It will be very interesting next season to see how Roseau sets their lines. Landman, Nelson and Moser played together before and compliment each other very well. It will be interesting to see if Coach Oliver puts Nick in one of their spots.

Bantam A's

I totally agree with High Flyer. Kids that still have one year left at Bantam A's should stay at Bantam A's. The only reason they move up is an ego trip for the parents. Let the kids play with their friends and have fun!!!!
