I think it's called recruiting when one or both parents get's jobs at the window factory when there are no registered openings! Down here in the cities, we call it "convenient openings"!

I hope crookston or Roseau. Warroad's "recruiting mission" is getting old" My daughters AAA summer team has had enough of the move north philosophy1.

Heard a variety of reports on the skills fest weekend. Rooming accomadations brutal, talent level sub par due to very young players allowed in, but good practices. My daughter said weekend was Ok after traveling "up north' for the weekend! I think next year I will monitor the rosters more close...

At a recent hockey tourney, someone mentioned that a new 16U team called the Minnesota Lazers played great up in Winnipeg and are entered in the US Cup! What a competitive tourney this will be!

Goalie 2008

You will see a fine goalie again this year as Jessica Havel (only a junior)from the up north grand Rapids-greenway team steps on the ice again. She helped lead her team to the AA State Tourney last year as a 10th grader! She's got alot of "Game"! We in the North Metro area did not overlook...
