Slasher/Boogey: do you save your comments and then simply cut it into every one of your posts? It is always the same thing. We have heard it.......great! Tomass, I remember when my son was 8 and he would jump on the internet searching for hockey camps and Mite programs or rush home and check the mai...

Slasher/Boogey, Let's make sure that you seperate "Youth Hockey" from High School Hockey. Many times players leave their associations after Bantams to different High Schools. Most would agree that Wayzata has a heck of a youth program and that does not mean they have to dominate at High Sc...

Slasher/Boogey, I would hope that any parent that spent a ton more money on hockey and the hours would become a better player. If that is your "Choice" by all means do it! A few parents that sent their kids to Bernie this winter said they basically do the same things that their association...

Slasher or should I say Boogey. Most people can ask any questions they like about the way things are done or run, if their questions are preceived wrong then it is usually in the way they ask or conspire behind backs without gaining the knowledge first. To answer your question: Associations are all ...

I agree with offsides, EP has taken a lot of crap over the years. Next season they will take a lot of losses  , so give them a break. Hate to say it gocards1 but I like Roseau or Breck over your squad. We will soon see and good luck. I just do not like your opinion of Breck just throwing the pu...

Boogeyman, about the piece of being a great hockey mind, I take acception to that (I may not know everything but I do know more than you). I would like to join Tomass on your date. If we sit down and go over our collective hockey minds I will gaurantee that mine is much higher than yours. You are a ...

Hey Dmom, does your cost have any other fundraiser fee or volunteer fee assosiated with it? Many associations build in a fundraiser that they can get a part back very easily or they include a volunteer fee that can be given back once they complete their required hours.

Yes, BM is insane

Nice comments in the Star Tribune today from a parent of an EP girls HS goalie. He gets it.... 8) Basically, Mr Burke is happy this happened, if for no other reason parents have conversations with their kids around drinking and behavior. Well done sir.

The kid should tryout like everybody else and make the team that they make based on their tryout performance.

Why hold anything against the kid or parent when it is in their right to try other options?

What does "Choice Mite" league mean? That these are the best kids from a tough and extended tryout process against thousands of kids, or they had the choice to pay or not? It does sound like a very good program to develop kids that have the interest, ability, time to devote, thick s...

I beleive there is a Benefit Hockey game with AJ's fellow Purdue players vs. Wessy's Boys JR gold. I heard at the Chaska Hockey game last night that this was being hosted by the Radermacher family, supported by the Chaska Community Center, and the Chaska Hockey Association.

Roseau does have a really nice deal! The town is passionate about hockey and gets the bill paid to keep the tradition. When "he who can not be named", writes, "what are they doing that other associations cannot achieve?" They get the bill paid for! Try getting your city to pay th...
