MGHCA.Com went from an adequate site to a horrible site. Would be a good site but is slow, confusing and lacks support from the coaches. Lots of double entries on the stats.

Re: Orange Crush win against Reece's Pieces

That's easy. How about a 4th place finish. Big win against the pieces, but really, 4th place was an accomplishment. JCP done pimpin your 94's?

If you know they have a website, wouldn't it be easier just for you to check it yourself to see if it has been updated? Kind of a dumb question.

Don’t sell the Starzz short; they have their share of talent also. The first game between the Blades and the Starzz, my only thought was that someone forgot to tell the Blades that the games were 60 minutes long, not 45. They had a comfortable lead, two to one in shots and then they just stopped pl...

It looks like when the stats were added for the US teams, the existing stats and records for the Canadian teams were deleted. The highest priority should have been adding the scores and standings from this past weekend. Stats are nice, but secondary. This is a Two Nations event, so it would be good...

Point still is, how long has the list been final? I'll bet the evaluators jobs were done Sunday night after the festival. Two weeks later, no list posted. Letters have been sent out. 16's and 17's had rosters posted much quicker. Why would anyone worry about the letter? Lots of "rosters" a...

By the time they get it out, these girl's will be eligible for 16's. I would find it hard to believe, that the 102 names were not already on a piece of paper Sunday night after the festival. Did this list need to get reviewed in case someone wasn't on it? Makes you wonder.

Didn't make the game. I was getting some updates. If I remember right, Ness and Loken each scored. Not sure of the other two goals. Single A all-stars outshot AA something like 34-24.

Section 8 All Star game

Good job to the folks in Warroad for their taking pride in section 8 boys AND girls hockey. They hosted the first ever section all-star game Tuesday night. The girls of single A defeated AA 3-1. The AA boys defeated single A 4-3. Ms. Hockey made the game but Mr. Hockey declined. Hmmm

now that EGF is out of the mix, TRF will be the next to fall. The first section barn burner will be Roseau vs. Crookston. Team work will prevail over individual talent.
Roseau 5
Crookston 2

Look forward to the Warroad vs. Roseau matchup thursday.

allhoc11, I can live with that. With the original system, strength of section would only last a couple games. The main thing would be the points accumulated through the state tournament. If you didn't get your team to the big show, your done. Just like other fantasy teams run. For the sake of gopher...

For lack of a better format, here it is Hanson: Every team win for a player is worth two points Every point for the player is worth a point. This should reward the player who helps the team as well as their individual stats. We'll start with round 1 of the section tournaments and play through the st...

The teams have been decided. Hanson will have the top 10 seniors in points with greater than 20 penalty minutes. Hansons Freightrain fantasy team is as follows: Lauren Smith Holy Angels 62 points 54 PM Katelyn Dold St. Cloud Tech 41 points 25PM Monique Weber Elk River 38 points 50 PM Kelly Seeler EP...

THAT IS my point. There are too many 8 and 9th graders on the ice that don't belong on the ice~That's why girls can sit in the box and still win over half of their games. If they are that penalized of a player, why are they not smart enough to adapt to the game. They KNOW they are going to get call...

You would be surprised how an enterprising student could set up someone for a fall using technology. I'm not saying this is what happened at EP, but if we are quick to set policy and convict on what we see on a website, we cannot be certain of the outcomes to possibly innocent victims. Kids can be c...

Hey Betty Crocker Girls Hockey, these 8 girls you mention represent a very small percentage of the 2007-2008 recruiting class. Maybe you didn't read my previous post entirely. There are not enough great players to fill D1 needs, therefore, good players also get a look. I have seen many talented girl...

That's why teams that Roll4 lines don't have girls with 60 penalty minutes. Their coaches have the kahunas to sit girls that get carried away. It certainly helps to have depth.

Hey Roll4, you must be rolling something. Most coaches have an open door policy. You open the door for them!! They don't want to listen to what the player has to say. These players get labeled as "whiners" when they adress these issues with the coach. Unless your hometown has a "bleed...

Here's the other bottom line. If these girls get an opportunity to play D1, and continue to rack up these kind of minutes, their college careers will be shortlived. I don't care who you play for, when you put your team down one skater on a regular basis, you become a liability to your success. These...

Yep, that is something certainly to be proud of. Being some of the top women goons in high school hockey. My guess is they are being sought after for something more than just penalty minutes. Of these "commitments", how many are scholarshipped? :?

The best way to motivate your goalies would be to pull them and skate 6 attackers. This would also help to motivate your D. :P
