Eagles and Bears living together...hmmm.

Better keep things clean as the whole world is now watching. Dang kids and their happy joy-filled season.

Watch out for the bad ice, a person could lose an ankle out there.

"I heard that the Blake Bantam B1 team has landed an awesome coach."

That depends entirely on who you ask! :D

Good luck and let the hockey season and new BB1 thread begin already.

"All kids would rather play with their community based friends through their bantam years." Really? The best test taking advice for T/F questions is if you ever see the word 'always' it is false. Where do you suppose their friends come from? School maybe. So what if they go to school with...

the only people worried about extra teams "hurting" associations are the adults who are concerned about the record their local team will have should some kids choose to play else where. there is no other reason to worry about who leaves, when or why. it's about adult egos. kids are smart. ...

Seems if we apply strict logic, as has been suggested above, there is no need for youth assoc boundries in the first place. You play where you live right? Define the assoc by the city limits. That would be fun to see. Plymouth would be a new power in youth hockey. There would be no need to agrue abo...

Not a dad, don't have a son or daughter but do have a dog. And everyone is selfish at one time or another. So quit pointing fingers, no one called you names.

While well worded , your arguement reminds me of the quote my mom used when asking about my decision making skills as a youth: "if your friends all jumped off a bridge, does that mean you should too?" What worked or didn't work in the past has nothing to do with what is best for the kids. ...

sources tell me that Chadwick is close to signing on with the big club, which is of course, outside of D6. (word is, the big club was really impressed with his coaching of a young sniper/pugilist like Dean-O and will be offering a nice signing bonus) just word on the street... FYI...Ned Brayden has ...

Lou Brown, managed the Toledo Mudhens for years. although he is uncertain about his future in hockey and has a guy on the other line about some white wall tires. He'll get back to you...

Reg Dunlop, man for man, best coach in the league.

Gordon Bombay, triple deke, enough said.

Am I missing anyone?

speaking of associations... isn't wayzata only about 13,000 people with a small geographic boundry, yet it's the biggest assoc in the country...how does this happen? are the kids from plymouth considered recruits? no? plymouth and wayzata are different cities, in different locations right? must mean...

you need to learn how to use spell check. keep quite, be humble, log off the Xbox and do your homework. then you can come on here and type away without worrying about any scuffed shoes or broken stereo equipment. it was not broken at the start of the year....hmmmmm. Eagle, passport is valid. "t...

Blake didn't have a "first" line. They were color coded.

And 7 of 12 goals is not too bad. Quit looking to toot your horn. Be humble it's much easier.

Facts: Blake did not appeal to USA Hockey, they appealed using the MH Grievance process and were denied. Then the issue was dropped. The issue was not to play A, the issue was to have the option to choose based on the current players and what is best for each year. There were not "many" pl...
And i am also curious as to what tournaments they played in Looks like Super Rink Spectacular, Edina Tourney and Moorhead Tourney D3 Tourney and East Regional As for who any team has beat, big or small, only 3 games matter anymore. Lots of good teams are watching this weekend. Good luck to all.

who else did they "beat"
the answer is no one. all 8 teams have a 0-0 record going into the tourney, and yes, I know this is not what you meant.

let the games begin! and here's to hoping all teams represent themselves with heart, sportsmanship and desire.

the only "poll" that will matter will be decided on the ice. remember, hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. (it seems like the appropriate time for cliches) good luck to all teams still playing. everyone has earned the right to play on, and some very good teams are not pla...

Animals are hearty creatures. Eagles and Bears and Horses oh my!

Some would say a shootout shouldn't decide a game. So a tie is a tie.

Bring on the playoffs, or really the only games that matter. Good luck to all.

Eagle have a fun ride up...make sure to tip the waitstaff and put in some early requests for Friday night. Also, double secret signal is a mint on the pillow and the ice bucket full, watch out for stray cougars in the hallways.
