As a matter of fact, I was at all the games, and assigned seating in the upper levels is ridiculous!!! All it did was force people to sit in their unassigned seat with their group. No different then general admission. As far as getting on the list, according to the guest services, that list is very ...

Xcel Center and MSHSL
I was very disappointed in how the MSHSL and Xcel handled the ticket sales for the AA. The staff at the Xcel and the signs posted said "One ticket per person" So, a group of us each have to go buy a ticket as you are unable to purchase tickets in advance like you could for the A's. So we g...

Some crazy hockey games today, here is the link to the D11 bracket. http://mlahareb.startlogic.com/schedules/D11BantamBBracket.pdf I've never seen a team get over 60 minutes in penalties and still win, but East was able to do it. I've never seen a ref that wanted to be the star of the game right fr...

You would have to throw in Austin Lanoue from Moose lake. He is 9-1 on the year sharing the job with a Senior. He was an alternate for the National team last year and has been very solid this year. I would post stats, but there have been some issues this year with the team getting the stats right. W...

Re: goals
anyone know the state record? Moose lake scored several ties in state records in the game versus Ely on Saturday February 14. (according to the Minnesota State High school League) Michael Unzen- 7 goals in a game (tied with John Mayasich, Eveleth, 1951) Dylan Peterson- 4 assists in a period (tied w...

Thanks for the heads up on this one. Yeah, their stats guy must be sleeping on the job some because I only see six games posted. Gassert played in three of those, with 5 goals and 1 assist. Still, he is #3 in points on the squad for only playing 3/6 of the games. Another freshman, Spencer Clough, i...

Moose lake has a freshman making a statement this year, Chris Gassert has approx. 10 points (probably more but no stat people). He is becoming a major influence on the team, and reason for their great start. Looking forward to seeing him play the next 3 years!! Thanks for the heads up on this one. ...

What has happened to Tournament prices this year????
I know the economy sucks, everything is going up in price, but the cost of most tournaments in the "State of Hockey" are way out of control!!! $700 plus for a Squirt tourney when just a few years ago was $400? And an additional couple hundred for gate fees? Come on folks, get real!!! :shoc...

New Rink Specs
Our arena is currently undergoing changes to update our rink to fit the new USA Hockey standards (all doors from the bench open to neutral ice).
I'm curious as to how many arenas are doing this? And what time frame does your arena have for completing this?

GOEP, The point still stands the process is poor and everyone knows it. If any association conducted a tryout process like most of the districts (not all) the parents wouldn't stand for it. It even puts the folks who are asked to pick/judge in a bad position. Everyone knows the right formula.... 6-...

just a quick question, do all players that skated in new hope recieve letters telling them if they made it or not or are letters only sent to players that made it to st. cloud As far as I know, they are only being sent to players who have been selected or alternates. The letter is sent with an appl...
