Bantam B North Region
I am familiar with D16 teams, who are the probables and possibles from D11 and D12?
After watching in Moorhead, Duluth East and Grand Rapids look like favorites to me for the two seeds to state with EGF nipping at GR's heels.

Spuds
Spuds will go south this season for Regionals. It is D-15 rotation for the south regional in08-09. Your looking at D-11, D-12 and D-16 for North Regionals this year which should open it up a bit more for clubs like EGF, Duluth Lakers, Moose Lake and Grand Rapids. Red Lake Falls possibly???

Roger that on Moorhead, I meant that I was watching bits and pieces of the Duluth East and Grand Rapids games at the Moorhead Tournament last weekend.
Red Lake Falls is out, no Bantams this year, must be like Hallock where the kids go from Pee Wees to high school because of the low numbers.
I have checked various websites for D11 and D12 teams to try to get a wag on who will be in the regional and most don't even seem to have complete schedules let alone game results. As I said, I expect that Duluth East and Grand Rapids will be there, what other teams from 11 and 12 look to be headed to regionals?

In D11, I agree that Duluth East should take #1, but for #2 I have go with Moose Lake over Hermantown. Saw them play at the EGF tourney a couple weeks ago, the class of that field, should have won it all except for a bad game against the Fargo Flyers, a 4-3 loss. Moose Lake has beaten Hermantown 3 times this year against no losses.
D12 only has three teams fighting for three region seeds: Grand Rapids, Hibbing, and International Falls. They just need to figure out who gets what seed.
In D16, I have to give Warroad White the tip of the hat over TRF for the #2 seed. Using Roseau as a common opponent, Roseau has had closer games with Warroad White then TRF.
North Red Division:
D16-#1 Roseau
D12-#2 International Falls
D11-#2 Moose Lake
D16-#3 East Grand Forks (Regional Host Bye)
North Blue Division:
D12-#1 Grand Rapids
D16-#2 Warroad White
D11-#1 Duluth East
D12-#3 Hibbing
With the host bye and how things look in D11 and 12, only two seeds are really up in the air, D11 #2 but to me it looks like Moose Lake is gonna get it and D16 #2 be between Warroad White and TRF.

That's what I had been told and that is what is posted on the Hibbing Bantam B page for the D12 tourney in Grand Rapids next weekend: Grand Rapids, Hibbing, and International Falls. The I Falls website seems to back this up, they already have hotel reservations in EGF.elliott70 wrote:D12 only has 3 bantam B teams????

I don't think there is a Regional Host Bye anymore. There was no Anoka last year when they hosted.Air Force 1 wrote:The projected North Regional Tourney draw is shown below.

With Bartender3035's post in another thread with D12 Bantam B1 district results and the Roseau website shows they won D16, the North Region is becoming a little clearer:

D16-#3 East Grand Forks (Regional Host Bye)
North Blue Division:
D12-#1 Grand Rapids
D16-#2 Thief River Falls
D11-#1
D12-#3 Hibbing
Any word from the D11 District tournament?

The TRF website shows they lost to "Warroad" 3-2 on 22 Feb, Warroad's website does not post scores. Who got the #2 for D16?BarTender3035 wrote:TRF still needs to play one of the Warroad teams.Air Force 1 wrote:With Bartender3035's post in another thread with D12 Bantam B1 district results and the Roseau website shows they won D16, the North Region is becoming a little clearer:

I'm sorry, I admit sometimes I cannot see the forrest for the trees, but I cannot find this reference on the Roseau website. Not saying it isn't true, just cannot find a reference to it.RickO'Shea wrote:According to Roseau youth hockey website - Warroad Red.Air Force 1 wrote: Who got the #2 for D16?

Click on "Bantam B" and scroll down to the district tournament. There is a link to the tournament bracket. Gary does a great job with the Roseau youth hockey website.Air Force 1 wrote: I'm sorry, I admit sometimes I cannot see the forrest for the trees, but I cannot find this reference on the Roseau website.
