Who is looking good for U16 teams this year?

It seems Wayzata is tough based on early tournament results. Anyone else look good?

It seems a lot of people want to reference HS success as the measure of a programs ability to develop. It seems there are several private schools in the Metro area that find pretty decent talent. Holy Angels, Cretin, St. Thomas, etc. These schools have historically pulled their kids from the Woodbur...

[ These ranks are bogus. 3 of the teams don't even have scores posted yet. How can you rank them? please tell me?[/quote] Relax..... if your team keeps winning - the rankings in November won't matter. If you are a top finisher in Districts and do well in Regions - you will be on the list on the only...

LPH 11/25 Unfortunately, many associations don't post their scores.... but by looking at tournament results, and some of the scores listed in LPH and on websites - it appears EP, OMG Crimson, Edina Green/White, St. Cloud, Wayzata Blue, Eagan Green, and Elk River have all posted quality victories an...

One of the problems is that you have to declare so early. It would be nice to be able to set up some scrimmages to get a better feel for where your team would be able to play and then declare. I'm sure this would be a schedulers nightmare, but isn't it about the kids? Does MN Hockey allow B1 teams ...

Wayzata Navy is clearly better than Gold from what I've seen. Must have them switched in the rankings. The rankings likley list 20 of the top Bantam B1 teams in the state, and I suspect the final 4 teams that will play for the championship are somewhere on this list. That said - the order is highly...

Lakeville North beat #13 Eagan 6-1 shots in favor of North 30-8 I watched this game, along with the game that followed between Eagan Green and Farmington. Lakeville North had good size. Eagan blue is filled with skaters, but are quite small, so Lakeville's physical play took them out of the game. E...

Thanks... I figured someone would have started organizing an event. Has this ever expanded to include metro teams? I am convinced there would be an interest, though I am not aware of anyone that has organized anything.

B2 Regional Playoff Interest

There are a growing number of districts offering B2 programs for PW and Bantam levels. Thus far, each district runs a tournament at the end of the season to crown a champion - but the season ends there. While I recognize it isn't likely MN Hockey will create formal regional/state tournaments for B2 ...

PWB Scores/Rankings?

OK - so this site is obviously focused on A level teams.... but does anyone have thoughts on early rankings for peewee B? How about some scores for top teams. Nothing is listed yet on LPH for PWB - figure they are waiting for the completion of the holiday tournaments.... I anticipate Wayzata, Edina,...

Please learn to spell... "Shorting" is not correct. It is "short en ing". You should have caught that just by looking at that word and occasionally reading a book or two. It just looks retarted. Thank you for the spelling and grammar check. Unlike "retarted", shorting ...

Shorting the bench

It seems each organization and coach has a different view of this topic. At what age/level should coaches start extending ice time for the top lines? I believe most of the top A teams begin this at the PW level (if not Squirt)..... is this also true for B teams? What impact (good or bad) does this h...

I haven't seen any scores posted for Eagan.... though it looks like they were solid last year. Any insight into how they are doing this year?
