looking at these rosters, I understand why minnesota high school players are leaving in record numbers for the ushl and the na. the elite league is great in theory but it requires a lot of work to sustain a top level of competition. It seems the higher ups at the elite league have thrown in the towel.

marshall is still 17 - he is one of the youngest players involved in the draft. If his birthday were 2 weeks later that would have kicked him into next year's draft. But like someone said, it is what it is.

Icedad, I am "of the impression" that since this is a Brandon Zurn thread, lets talk about Brandon Zurn and not Ben Marshall.

Zurn is a senior and will graduate this spring. I don't see how Ben Marshall's decision regarding Jr's affects Zurn.
