One of those is a misprint. Jared Maetche actually played for St. Cloud Tech Varsity this past year and is quite a player in my opinion from seeing him play.

things to remember,

Some Kids do turn this opportunity down due to baseball, golf or other commitments.

You can only be selected if your coach puts you in, Look how many centennial kids there are, they are all good players.

The goalies must have done well in the tryouts, besides the Head coach is a former Anoka coach and the asst's are the Bantam coaches from St Cloud and Centennial who saw them play during the season and tryouts. Blaine also did faily good at the State and during the season handed Edina a loss.

It has him listed as a Cathedral kid...either way...after looking at that roster...I think we might have seen a different State Tourney in Bantams if all those St. Cloud Boys wouldn't have opted up to high school...
Taylor Mattson-The Next Non-Mr. Hockey

If they would have opted to stay at bantams AND St. Cloud fielded only one team instead of two.

A lot of them would have stayed if there would have only been one A team and would have had a shot at going all the way

The Cathedral kids all left because their parents had enough of the association, and the Cathedral coaching is far superior to what the association could assemble. In the end , they had B2s on A's, A's on B1's, and coaches who have never played the game.
