How to close the "gap" between teams

To close this big gap between teams (which seems to be getting bigger) I think that if a youth level can have 2 teams at that level, then one of them has to play A. You couldn't just do it right away though, you would have to start at the squirt level and have it follow that group of kids up to bantams otherwise some bantams teams right now would get killed. What do you guys think of this? <p></p><i></i>

Hockey is constantly changing. Years ago the teams from the Range were the best. <br><br>Then the big cities started playing and took controll over the game with better rinks, better programs, etc. Today, excpet for GR, and Greenway, they all dropped down to Class A. <br><br>Then schools like Duluth East, Elk River, Cloquet, Moorehead, (and a few more) started flexing muscle and are now some of the best in the state. Soon we will probably see Hermantown in AA and at the top also. <br><br>Why change anything? It is working fine. <br><br>Burnsville, Edina, HM, Bloomington, were tourney fixtures for years and today they are not. It's part of the nature of sports. They will be back, no mistake about it. <br><br>Look at Centennial and Holy Angels? Awesome programs and what fun to see them come along. Centennial may be the best in the state, but they are "underdogs" in that they have not been a hockey dynasty. So everyone enjoys seeing their success.<br><br>I don't see what the big "gap" is. Everyone gets their shot at it. <br><br>The only thing I think that needs to be fixed is to move the Iron Range teams out of Section 7 and in with........., oh wait, they would probably complain about having to take a bus ride to Moorhead, or Elk River or wherever. So to make the rangers happy: Create their own section. Let them play every single game at their own ice. Let them be the champs of their own section and then send them to state and see how they fare?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They would complain if they were hung with a new rope!!<br> <br><br><br> <p></p><i></i>

Hey huckey are a hermantown fan?? must be ever since you said that hermantown was goin to kill hibbing for the championship of 7a and guess what they didn't. another thing it seems that you have something against the iron rangers for bein in 7a maybe because hermantown moved to 7a (which iron range teams play on)and got beat to go to state.still tryin to figure out your problem here let me know<br><br>GO BLUEJACKETS!!! <p></p><i></i>
