If I can get away from this place I will be at Reids on Sat afternoon - right after Oshie and the boys get the big trophy.

My plan is to be there late Friday afternoon before semis of AA. Slappy, VS and I are making a serious effort on this. If it cant be Friday, then maybe Thursday in between games, maybe both. It will happen and obviously the more the better. I will be in communication with SS, VS and others on this and lets use this thread to keep all informed.

I will be there for sure on Thursday afternoon in between sessions. I'm planning on working most of Friday, but should be able to get there around 5:00 and I'll also be working on Saturday but should be able to get down there by the late afternoon too. Heck, they should just carve my name on one of the barstools.

I have never been to TR's. Someone familiar with the place suggest a meeting area(back by the pool tables,whatever). Slappy, relax. Dons is guaranteeing your safety. Look out for anybody going to the bathrooom though.

SCSUHuskyFan...no offense, but I'd lay off the Moorhead fans, considering their team could probably put up a pretty good fight with your college team right now! Better take 2 from the Gophers this weekend, or else the Huskies will have to wait until next year to lose their opening round NCAA game! I think Tom Reid's is a good place to meet. They do serve food there and those under 21 can get in, they just can't drink. There is a room at the back past the video games, on the opposite end of the entrance on West 7th which would be a good place to meet. Trouble is, the place gets very crowded so someone will need to get in there and save a table. I might be able to do that on Friday, but I'll be at the games on Thursday so if anyone wants to meet on Thursday someone will have to save the table. Someone has mentioned one of the hotels (the Radisson?) as also being a good place to meet, anyone have any info on that or are we agreed on Tom Reids? The other problem is that, other than VideoScout, I don't know what any of you look like. I'm actually thinking of wearing a hat with a 'ChrisK' sticker on it, anyone have a better suggestion for being able to find each other?

If the Spuds win I'll buy at White Castle! Just stop in after the game on Saturday, you'll know who I am. Rice street, right by the Capitol. You can bring a sack of em back with you on your Drive back to Moorhead. your going to have to make a few "Rest Stops" on the way back to Moorhead: Monticello, St Cloud, Alexandria, Fergus (well maybe not Monticello) bring lots of TP. The Husky's started out the year great. My Bud Adam Coole looked like the Hoby winner early, but too many injuries. The Gophers are not that strong now either, UMD, Denver sweeps. Who ever plays the worst looses. Sorry Dudes, its Wayzata taking the Championship!!

Set a time..meeting at a specific spot and at a specific time will ensure that we are meeting with people who post. Set a place at the X. I hope nobody is offended if upon initial meeting i ask if they post on minnhock, before i even introduce myself..or ask for their actual name.
