Girls state not at Xcel

Here's my thoughts on the girls hockey players sueing the high school league for inequality because they don't get to play state at the Xcel, thus leading to no replay which was frustrating while at the games. Girls, how bout you pay to rent out the Xcel for 3 days and you can reap the profits (a big fat ZERO) from that then if you want this so bad. Im sorry to say but you won't even fill half of the lower bowl for any of your games. The whole topic deals with economics, and girls you just arent going to bring in the money needed to play at the x. How bout we fight for equality in common sense, because you have none, and everyone else seems to have it. I think you should be happy at ridder. Its a lot better then the fairgrounds. Now give us our replay back please. <p></p><i></i>

I just decided to write this because some friends and myself were pretty pissed that those girls even thought about sueing the mshsl, and then once it affected the boys state tourny i had had enough. <p></p><i></i>

i heard from some players on our team that they had 2 large tvs in the locker rooms at the X but they weren;t allowed to turn them on because the girls dont have them @ ridder. <p></p><i></i>

thats sad abotu the tvs i mean the girls should play at ridder cuz thats the highest level of girls hockey in minnesota u no they should be happy they get that <p></p><i></i>

FINALLY!!!! Someone agrees with me! I posted almost this exact point in the "NO REPLAYS" topic. I agree with you 100% Let them do it and rent it out (if the X would be that stupid), but when they fall on their asses they have absolutely no one to blame but themselves. Like i said before, it took the boys 60 years to get to the best arena in the world, and the girls can't expect to do it in 10... <p></p><i></i>

the second its economically feasable for the girls to play at the X, im all for them moving there. until then, they should enjoy Ridder, the smaller arena brings in a great atmosphere they wouldnt get at the X right now. <p></p><i></i>

I think that if girls hockey whats to sue the MSHSL they should sue for not having an 8 team singal A tourny. Going down to a state tourny and only having 4 teams. It they want to sue over equal rights they should be sueing about not having a full tourny to play at, not about where they play. They will never in a million years fill the Xcel. <p></p><i></i>
