Seating at the X

Post by STATEofHKY »

I think that everybody should pay the same price to get in..say $10. Then an hour and a half before every session they should open the gates and just let people have first come first serve for their seats. We wouldnt have to worry about the student section problem, if people dont want to be unbstructed than dont sit by the students.

I gotta say that you the schools fans need to be behind the net on the lower level. The fans add excitement to the game because they are cheering and yelling and actually showing emotion for THEIR team. If you look around at the games, really no one is making any noise except for the teams' fans. I remember two years ago at the 03' tourny when fans weren't allowed lower bowl seating and the Xcel felt dead. It also feels good to know your fans and friends are right there cheering you on.

What I think should happen is that you block off a section of seats like the band has, and sell that block to students with ID's from that school. Put them on the ends so they can stand up without interfering with people. You'll also know that you'll be able to have more people see the game because student tickets will be sold per game and you won't have empty sections where a school is supposed to sit but they aren’t there because they lost out.
