anyone know where to purchase the book on saterdalens dynasty years, as the jefferson coach, published a couple of years ago? a behind the scenes expose on his team etc. covering all topics a-z.<br><br>if anyone has read it...what are your thoughts? forth buying & reading? <p></p><i></i>

this book is by far one of the greatest books i have ever read. Rosengren does a great job portraying the struggles and hardships the team had to go through to become champions. I love this book because it is so realistic and shows that being a hockey player isnt all fame and good times. Even if you are not a Jefferson fan (which i definitely am) I would still recommend reading this book at least once, its addicting. I have read it 4 times already and everytime i finish it in about 2 days. <br><br>PS. Congratulations to the Jefferson Jaguars 04-05 on a great season. Gotta love those Jags! <p></p><i></i>

i read it and loved it! it was exciting to see the jaguars at the tourney. definitely an addicting book and well worth your money. <p></p><i></i>

Kodiakchew and Cliff77:<br><br>I know you guys are big Trebil fans, but you obviously do not know the history behind Jefferson Hockey. Kent Murphy who is now the Littleton Colorado peewee coach was the peewee "A" coach at Jefferson when Trebil was the Bantam coach and he won more championships then Trebil did. So if you want to talk about getting handed talent you might as well say that Murphy handed Trebil the talent because he had the boys first. Also Sats won three high school tournaments in a row (92 - 94 ) and Trebs did not win Bantam championships with those three classes.<br><br>I am also a fan of trebil and think he is a great coach, but it bothers me when people who do not know the history of the program make blanket statements about it. My son played for Kent Murphy, Greg Trebil and Tom Saterdalen, and they all contributed together to the success of the program. <p></p><i></i>

I am almost done reading this book and it is the best book i have ever read. It talks about everything. Its a must read for any hockey fan. <p></p><i></i>
