And is this like the 4 time he broke his nose, lol, So its even more crooked than before? Puckswerestones, you should come fishing this winter, I hear there is 12 inches of ice now, and the fish are biting, but its cold eh?

puckswerestones:
Obviously these guys never really did read the whole thread and couldn't see that I would've more than loved to see LF in state other than Wadena, I'm kinda changing my ways, I'm starting to like Wadena, if only because I can have a civilized, intelligent conversation with them. Judging by the # of posts a lot of the LF people have, I'd say that most of them are just fair wether fans anyway.......I mean, you have 7 posts to your credit and your telling me to be quiet " especially after a 7-2 loss" well all I have to say is that that power you have over there in jr. falls has also lost 5-1, 9-1, and even to Alex who is nothing to brag about this year....not really anything to write home about either...
I'd said this before, but this time I'll try to stick to it, I'm done trying to validate myself to people only trying to drum up support for their team who add very few intelligent statements.........
Who does Wadena and Little Falls play this week???? or don't they untill the Christmas tourney??? Fergus is at Fargo South tomarrow night, if this weather doesn't stop it..........and were in heck did you find 12 inches of ice???

I had a chance to watch the Wadena kid's hit on their web site. I got a headache just watching. (By the way very slick site.) Can you imagine two 40 year olds doing the same thing, they wouldn't walk for a month.

jiggs it was wild and 40 plus wouldnt gotton up lol. Then the second shift he was out in the third period he throw a hit not on tape as hard or harder than that one. Thsi kid drills people and never gets the sin bin cause his arms are down and he hits clean. Probably why he got his mask smashed in. haha. If he gets a couple of those hits into little falls players could be an interesting game.Who ever that guy was from st paul he hit, hes tough he stayed in the game.

LF team is just like Wadenas 2000 team was. They have 2 players on the top five for scoring and play on the same line just like Wadenas team did. And where did Wadenas team go that season with a 18-5 record no where.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/eek.gif ALT=":eek">

I think the Otters won the section championship like 7-3 over the offensive power house that was Wadena.

Wadenas team this year is balanced with quick forwards, talented defense men with an offensive touch, and an efficient goaltender. Who has impressed the snot out of me so far. (krause who)

I see that all three of the important teams in our section are off until their tourneys. No idea who the Flyers play. But The otters play 2 common opponents Willmar and DL. DONT LOSE TO THE LAKERS THAT WOULD BE UGLY.

I stand by my statement that the Otters are done like dinner. I think Wadena matches up really well against the Flyers and i think it will be ONE HELL of game. With Wadena coming out on top because Wadena has more depth.

(Wadena defending section 4a champs)

that hit wasnt that big, and plus it looks like he lost, lol. not like this hit <a href="http://www.geocities.com/skater_mn_mn/c ... . I think someone went through on lake of the woods with a bombadeer also, not sure though. My buddy has been driving his car out there already, I wouldnt, maybe on a snow cat or a wheeler. New limit this winter too, only 8 fish, no more than four walleyes. Is there an alumni game in WDC this year again?

otters win

Post by koonta »

Congrats to the Otters for defeating Fargo south.

Even though Fargo south may be a power house in the NODAK league they are far from the faorite to win their state tourney.

Their are at least 8 teams better than them in NODAK land. And with only 18 teams in there league thats not that impressive. What would the 9th best team in class A have done to theses guyS, or class AA.

Its good to see the Otters pick up a win because they will be few and far between this season. but this is not an impressive win by any stretch of the imagination. And you know that.

1 Minot
2 Grafton/P.R
3 G.F. Central
4 Bis. High
5 Hazen-Beulah
6 Bis. I have no idea where you got those rankings, or by what standards they are on but that whole statement you made was decent up untill those rankings, that completely ruins the credibility of the post.
IF those rankings are correct, where in the heck is Grand Forks Red River???? .................
Never mind, just took a look at the NDHSAA website for myself, YOUR list is very nice, however it IS the WINS BY PERCENTAGE RANKINGS.(in other words, 4-4 is .500) If you want to go by that, then Wadena would've been the favorite to win the State Tournement last year.
Here is the more credible and meaningful rankings:
Eastern Dakota Conference
1 Graffton Park River
2 FARGO SOUTH
3 Grand Forks Red River
4 Grand Forks Central
5 West Fargo
(this is by record and points earned for the W and T)
PRESEASON COACHES POLL EDC
1 Grand Forks Central
2 Grand Forks Red River
3 FARGO SOUTH
4 Grafton Park River
5 Fargo Shanley
the top three in the EDC poll mirror the state poll.
If you want the state overall rankings, in the one that counts, Fargo South is tied for second with Graffton Park River and Minot is first.
Obviously Fargo South is a favorite in NODAK country, not that that is real awesome, (I've often said that the NODAK tourney could just be like a section tourney and their champion could be one of the Minnesota Tournements) but in any case, they are a good team. Solid win for the Otters..........

I'm not sure who the otters played earlier this season, either RR or Central, but whoever it was the lost 10-0 in an UGLY game. Fargo South beat both of those teams. In reference to the game between FS and FF Fergus showed more effort then I've seen all year. They frustrated South into numerous penalties and just plain got in their heads. One of the Fergus players told me that there was a garbage can thrown from Fargo's players hallway over the barrier onto the Fergus players hallway. Just shows how much the Fergus players got to them.

fergus falls

Post by puckstopshere »

I'm glad to see fergus do well the day after little falls took it to them, fergus seem to lack the goto players they had in the past with miller, anderson and ackley. and little falls seems to have those players, it should make for a great section race. watch out for WDC and morris/benson, WDC is right in the thick of it and M/B will be one team to watch or even LP/SC..
